The Rainbow Room provides Child Protective Service workers the resources to help children who are in need of the basic necessities like clothing, diapers, food, shoes, cleaning products, and more. Community Partners of Denton County support three Rainbow Room locations including Denton, Lewisville, and Carrollton. Volunteer opportunities include adopting a caseworker, providing clerical support, assisting with special events, serving on the CPS Board, serving as foster parents, working in the Rainbow Room, adopting a shelf in the Rainbow Room, donating needed items, purchase items on website that raise proceeds for the cause, and easily enough, spread the word!

Serves a daily meal at noon 5 days a week. Donations are welcomed: canned fruit, cream soup, chicken noodle soups, tomato soups, ranch or Italian dressing, mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sugar substitutes, fruit drinks, kool-aid or other powdered drinks, napkins, 8 oz. Styrofoam cups. Not only that, they also have an Annual Empty Bowls Luncheon that raises money for their cause, as well as clothing drives for sweatshirts, hats, gloves, socks and scarves. The Salvation Army of Denton serves a daily meal 7 days a week at 6:30 pm. The Salvation Army was started in 1865 and has continued to succeed in spreading help around the world.
