Top Clothing Stores for Teens in Concord, California

Where in Concord California (and neighboring cities, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek) can you go to find the hottest trends and fashions for teens? Not to worry, the famous Sun Valley Mall of Concord can help! This is where all the teens go to hang out every other day or every other weekend, depending on who they are, on the inside. There are so many different styles of clothing for teens roaming around our cities, but one things for sure: the "jocks" wear preppy clothes, the "punks" and "emo's" wear dark clothes, and the "nerds" or people who don't care what everyone else is wearing, just wear whatever falls out of their closet.

Now that you get the jist of it, where do you shop? The first real questions for you are: What kind of person are you? Do you like to wear dark clothes? Or preppy clothes? Or do you just like to stand out of the crowd?

Hot Topic - Punk/Emo store - For all your latest dark, evil shirts, pants, skirts, wristbands, whatever! Don't listen to the all to well known song, "Hot Topic is Not Punk Rock!" But rather just go there if you are the kind of person who really likes the dark clothes. Even if you don't like to be emo or punk, there are many hularious T-shirts you can get that say the funniest things! Let me explain that, its not just emo's and punks who shop there. So you aren't alone.

Hollister - Preppy store - If you are the type of person who likes to dress preppy, whether it be tight shirts, nice pants/jeans, or anything else that preppy people wear, you are sure to find it at Hollister Co. They have every thing there, even cologne. Check it out if you are interested in maybe trying out the preppy style, or even if you are already preppy and want to get new clothes. They are always up-to-date with the latest trends.

Abercrombie & Fitch - Preppy store - Now this is fairly close to Hollister Co. but Hollister still beats Abercrombie & Fitch by a long shot. Why? Abercrombie & Fitch has some nice clothes, however they are sometimes not that cool or in style yet. They may be out of style or just too far ahead for getting in style then. Let's just say Abercrombie & Fitch trys too hard. Another thing you have to worry about Abercrombie & Fitch is the fact that thier prices for almost anything are about twice or more as high as a typical store. In other words, you have to be really rich if you want to shop there and look like something that hasn't been released yet. (Not Cool).

Aeropstale - Preppy/Whatever - Now this store is fairly cool. Thier prices are very nice at best, not too high, but not low enough to make you go there a lot. They have some fairly nice T-shirts and other things for guys and girls. Especially girls pants, those are definetely whats in right now. However there are a few things in the store that can be classified as the "did that fall out of your closet" genre. Great place for good prices!

American Eagle Outfitters - Preppy - This store has really nice clothes for the preppy types. I can't say much more other than it's really relatively close to the Hollister store. The only difference I can say is that Hollister has better prices on most things, but you can't be so certain all the time when sales arise.

Anchor Blue - Preppy/Punk - There is a very nice variety of clothes in this store. This is a great place for both skaters to get their gear and also preppy dudes to check out nice jackets and sweatshirts. I'm pretty sure they sell shoes there as well!

d.e.m.o. - unknown - This store carries a very big variety of shoes. I know they sell a bunch of skater shoes mainly, but I'm sure they sell other items as well.

Foot Locker - Sports - This store sells only shoes as it is a fairly well known store, I won't give much description. It's been there for a while, and this is the place to get sports fit shoes.

JCPenny's - Unclassifyable - This store has mainly womans clothing for casual dinner settings. They also have mens clothing and a nice supply of boxers for dudes. Check this out if you want really nice deals as well.

Pac Sun - preppy/punk - This is the place to be. Not so cheap though, but if you are looking for skater shoes, preppy clothes or punk-to-preppy clothes, this is the store. They have the skater type of wear, but also mainly the preppy fashion involved with ok pricing on many things.

Macy's - woman's paradise - This is the place where all the women in the world shop. They have a huge Macy's here, so this is the place for cheap clothes and the place to drag your kids to be bored with you as you try on hundreds of different things.

This is just the Sun Valley Mall that has the latest trends. The rest of Concord doesn't really have any other good place to shop for the latest and most popular clothes. Check out Sun Valley Mall located near Contra Costa Blvd., and Willow Pass Road for some nice apperal shopping. Have a nice shop!
