Car seats are a very important product when it comes to baby safety. Whether you own a car or not, you still need a car seat if you plan on traveling anywhere with your baby. Many people think the kind of car seat you use is not important but they are wrong. There are some very important factors to pay attention to when looking for and buying a car seat. First and most importantly the seat must meet all safety guidelines. Next consider how easy the seat is to install in your car and how easy the buckles are to fasten. It is important to have a one latch harness so that it can be easily and quickly fastened. Consider how comfortable the seat is for you child, since your child may be in the seat for an extended period of time. Also make sure the seat is adjustable so that you can fit it to your child's size exactly. Never use a car seat that has been in an accident because it may have weakened parts. To help you in choosing a seat that is a great value for your money, here are the top three convertible car seats for under $100.

Can someone explain to me why it is safer for my child to ride RF for longer when I can see him. It seems safer to me for him to face forward so I can see him better. Honestly, in a crash, it won't matter what direction he is facing as long as his seat is in securly.
