Top Disney Movies of All Time

Disney has been around for a long time now and they have come up with some incredible movies. I have two kids that love watching movies and I pretty much have all of the Disney movies that have come out. That made me wonder, what were the top ten Disney movies of all time. Well here is the list.

1. Shrek 2 won first place. This movie came out in 2004 and grossed $920,665,658 worldwide. This movie had voice cameos by Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Antonio Banderas, Julie Andrews, and many more.

2. Finding Nemo in 2003 grossed $864,625,978 worldwide. Voice cameos for this movie had Ellen DeGeneres, William Dafoe, and Alexander Gould.

3. The Lion King is in third. This is the oldest movie in the top ten and it was produced in 1994. It grossed $783,841,776 worldwide. Some famous names in this movie were Jonathon Taylor Thomas, Matthew Broderick, and James Earl Jones.

4. The Incredibles in 2004 grossed $631,436,092 worldwide. Samuel L. Jackson and Jason Lee had characters in this movie.

5. In 2001 Monster's Inc. came out and grossed $529,061,238 . This movie featured Billy Crystal and John Goodman.

6. 2005 was big for the movie Madagascar. It grossed $527,890,631 . This movie had an allstar cast with Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Cedric the Entertainer.

7. Aladdin in 1992 grossed $504,050,219 for the second oldest movie in the bunch. This movie featured the wonderful voice of Robin Williams.

8. Toy Story 2 in 1999 grossed $485,015,179. Toy Story 2 had the wonderful cast of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Kelsey Grammer, Joan Cusack.

9. In 2001 the first Shrek came out and grossed a little less than half of the second movie with $484,409,218 worldwide. Shrek had the same cast as Shrek 2 of course.

10. Rounding out the top ten comes the movie Tarzan in 1999 with $449,391,819 worldwide. Tarzan boasts the cast of Rosie O' Donnell, Minnie Driver, and Glenn Close.

A lot of these movies are newer and are computer animated. I am actually surprised by some of the top ten movies on this list. I really didn't think some of these movies would've done this good. As for Disney, they keep rolling the movies out and so this list will soon change. Every year there are numerous movies that come out and they are getting better with detail and story-lines. The interesting thing is when Disney 3D comes out and will change movies for kids forever. A new list will surely be made when these movies come along.
