Top Family Christmas Movies

Christmas is my favorite holiday! I love everything about it. Spending time with my family watching some good Christmas movies, has to be a favorite of mine. These are my favorites and I hope you can enjoy them with your family too!

1. It's A Wonderful Life

Now who doesn't love this movie? It is number one on my list. This movie is my favorite. With James Stewart, one of my classic favorite actors. In this movie its about following your dreams, but stumbling along the way, to a different dream. A dream that appears to be what you don't want, though it really is and makes you happy. Starting his life he always wanted see the world. As he grew he tried and planned to do so. Family issues arose and other things. Crushing his plans. He became the head of his dads company, fell in love, and more. In the end it all turns out different then his wants but wonderful just the same.Definitely a movie anyone can enjoy.Great for the family!

2. Polar Express

The Polar Express is not just great for the kids, but the entire family. Now, most of us have read the book. In this movie we can enjoy the book come to life. The Polar Express is about a boy who grew and felt Christmas just wasn't the same. Santa wasn't real to him. One night it all changes. A train appears and becomes a journey to believing again. He meets new friends along the way and ends up at the North Pole with a special someone. This movie is fun, exciting, and full of Christmas spirit. So cuddle up, enjoy a nice hot cup of cocoa, and pop The Polar Express in.

3. Santa Claus

Starring a funny actor, Tim Allen, this movie is a sure to be family favorite. I got a lot a laughs, while also enjoying plenty of Christmas spirit. With the North Pole, reindeer, and Tim Allen making Santa fall off the roof. Yes, and is he in for a big surprise. I enjoy every minute of this movie every year with my family and you can too!

4. Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

This is a movie many kids can enjoy. Its a classic Christmas movie. Its basically about different people, animals, and toys trying to fit in with the others. In the end everyone of them are happy and find their place. I enjoyed this as a child and now my kids are enjoying it with me every Christmas..

5. The Grinch

Many of us enjoy funny guy, Jim Carrey. If you do this movie is for you. From the wonderful rhyming Dr. Seuss, is The Grinch. From a cartoon to this movie its longer and really was brought to life. It has been a total favorite for my son. So if you are looking for a funny Christmas film, this is a good choice. The Grinch is about a thing/guy who is treated as an outcast. He ends up hating Christmas, until one girl gives him a chance. He steals Christmas, but because of her he changed and great heart.
