Tulsa, Oklahoma has a lot of good things to offer a person when they visit. There are numerous attractions to choose from. One of the most impressive features of Tulsa is the selection of restaurants. Not only are there many nice restaurants, but there are many nice restaurants that will not cost you a small fortune yet still make you feel like you are experiencing high class cuisine. Here are the top five restaurants that will make your taste buds sing without causing your wallet to cry.

1.) Ti Amo's - This Italian restaurant will give you that romantic, fine dining experience that you are looking for. There is a live piano bar on certain nights where a pianist will play light, classical music in the background as you enjoy your meal. The menu has a wide variety of classic Italian dishes as well as some dishes that are unique to Ti Amo's. The dining room is dim, with candles on each table. The staff will take care of your every need and be sure your experience is perfect. There is also an extensive wine list to choose from. The prices vary depending on what you order. As with any restaurant, if you order the steak, you pay more. If you order a pasta dish, which comes with fresh focaccia bread and a salad, you are looking at spending about $18.00. This restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner and quiet conversation.

2.) Outback Steakhouse - This steakhouse is great if you are looking for a place to get great beef, and not worry about being too loud. The atmosphere is perfect for meetings or social gatherings. Their steaks are fresh and tender, and better yet, affordable. They are cooked to order and fresh cut daily. In fact, their most popular dish is the Outback Special, which includes a hearty 11 oz. or you can get the 8 oz sirloin, plus two sides of your choice. The 11 oz. Outback Special is only $14.49, and the 8 oz. is $12.99. Outback also offers a variety of desserts and appetizers. They are most famous for their Bloomin' Onion, which is a whole onion that is carefully carved, breaded, and fried to perfection and comes with their house dipping sauce.

3.) Shogun - This Japanese steakhouse is truly a unique experience. While it is a little higher on the budget side of things, it is worth it. When you arrive you are seated at a table that has a large cooking surface in the middle of it. Your server will bring you menus and your drinks. Once you place your order, the chef comes out and prepares everything right on the table. Not only does he prepare your food, but he will do tricks like catching an egg in a bowl, or tossing knives in the air. There are a lot of options from steak to seafood to rice to choose from. The price can vary from about $18.00 per person to about $26.00 per person depending on what you order.

4.) Tsunami Sushi - Tsunami has a great atmosphere for sushi lovers. They offer a huge variety of the best sushi in town. You can choose from single servings to varieties that can be shared among the table. This is a great place to go and talk.

5.) Red Lobster - This seafood restaurant is a little less formal then some, but the prices are much better. They even run specials such as special prices on crab legs on Mondays, or special shrimp pricing on Tuesdays. They are also well known for their delicious Cheddar Biscuits. These are fresh, cheesy biscuits brought with each meal. You can also pick your own lobster for dinner if you would like. The décor is that of a marina with fish nets and sea life decorations all around. The prices are great, averaging around $15.00 per person.
