This article will be a top five guide to some really awesome board games that I currently own and play with some great friends. We always have a good time so I figure why not share these games with the readership!
1. Battle of the Sexes: This is a great party game that we love to play. It is inspired by the popular radio contest and tests your knowledge of the opposite sex. It consists of 110 female and male gender-based questions that seek to answer the old adage, who is superior men or women! There are also 55 wild card questions for each gender and can really spin the game. It can be bought at www.gamedaze.com for only $24.99.
2. Monopoly: This is a classic that I believe everyone should own. Some of the longest night were lost to this game and sometimes spilled over into the next evening. This game is so engrossing! The point of the game is to buy as much property as possible and build on it with the purposes of bankrupting your competition. This can also be bought at gamedaze for $22.99 and well worth it.
3. Pizza Box Football: Calling all sports fans! If you a sport nut like me, then this game is a must. Pizza Box Football contains the intensity of real football in every play. Football strategy is used in order to win the game. You are the coach, player and fan all in one! There are four game options and you can set the amount of time you want to play the game. It is great for those familiar with football and easy levels for those who are not. It can be found at the same website and currently on sale for $28.99.
4. 25 Random Things about Me: I bought this game when I saw it on The Ellen Show. This is a great game to test your knowledge of how well your friends know each other. The point of the game is to try to match the fun facts to your opponents and the first one to get 25 wins. It is also currently on sale on my favorite website for $15.99.
*Note this game is not for those who are easily offended
5. Pass the Bomb: This game always causes uproar of laughter. For this game you flip over a card to reveal the letter or letters that you must use to come up with a word. Then you pass the bomb around with each person coming up with a word. Be warned though, if you take too long the bomb might go off, and that person then collects the card that was in play and another one is chosen. The person with the fewest cards at the end wins. It is on sale right now at Gamedaze for $22.99.
