Top Five Golf Gifts for Your Lady Golfer

Jessica H
Most of us consider golfing to be more of a men's sport, perhaps that's the difficult factor in selecting the perfect golf gift for women golfers. Women in general love receiving gifts, whether it's from a spouse or partner, golfing buddy, fellow employee, and so on. Little things that come in handy and need that she can use while on the actual golf course can be some of the most appreciated gifts. I say, if it hangs on the wall, then it's no good, if it has a purpose, then it's perfect.

1. Tees & Golf Balls

We just can't ever get enough of these! As simple as it may seem, tees and extra golf balls come in handy. Nobody likes giving (or receiving) gifts that will have a little to no chance of ever being used, but I assure you, tees and balls are much appreciated. If you want to personalize the gift or throw in some personal flare, add her name to a set of tees, or balls.

2. Golf Ball Retriever

Personally, I would consider a golf ball retriever to be one of the most useful and inexpensive gifts you could give to any lady golfer. For some golfers, particularly women golfers, dirty hands and escapee balls don't seem to be of interest. A golf ball retriever will save her a lot of hassle and frustration on the course, especially with water hazards.

3. Polo Shirts

Polo shirts are always needed, the more we have, the better. Depending on the season, the sleeve length can be a very important factor in selecting her polo. During the summer, when golfers tend to sweat most out on the course, I would advise a very breathable sleeveless polo, trust me when I say she'll be much happier.

4. Golf Sunglasses

These are absolutely a must-have for any golfer, regardless of gender. Blindingly bright sun shining in your eyes while on the course is never wanted; it's distracting and gives headaches. If you'd rather not hear your lady golfer complain throughout the course, about the sun, then this is definitely the gift for her.

5. Golf GPS

A great tool for both the novice and professional golfer, GPS' are quite helpful to estimate yardage and course layout. Lightweight and usually waterproof, a golfer's own course GPS can withstand almost any circumstance and can turn out to be the most helpful caddie you'll ever have. If your objective is to impress your lady golfer, then this gift has her name written all over it.
