Top Five Halloween Movies for Kids

If you have young children and teenagers, and are looking for some Halloween movies for them, the following is my list of Top 5 Movies for Kids during Halloween.

1. The Adventures of Ichabod Crane and Mr. Toad. This is a classic Disney animated feature that contains two movies, one is a story of ichabod crane and headless horseman. Children above the age of seven should be OK with watching the headless horseman cartoon, it is more humorous than scary. Bundled with the Adventures of Ichabod Crane, is the adventures of Mr. Toad. Also, children above the age of seven should do fine with this short animated feature.

2. Hocus Pocus. Rated PG. This is a live action film released by Walt Disney pictures and 1993, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker,and Kathy Najimy as three witches from colonial times which find themselves in present times. This film should be OK for children above the age of seven as well, it is a lighthearted comedy set during Halloween.

3. E. T. Extra Terrestial. Rated PG. This classic film is set during Halloween, and is the story of a young brother and sister who met an alien from another planet. This film should be OK for kids who are bob the age of seven as well.

4. Disney's Halloween treat. Rated G. This classic animated film by Disney is good for kids of all ages.

5. It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Rated G. This is always a classic Halloween animated film that children love, it is suitable for children of all ages. The DVD version is available from Amazon.com.
