Firmware 3.0 further adds to the improvements by bringing more shortcuts to the XrossMediaBar. For example, you can go directly to the video section of the Playstation Store from the video category. 4. More Trophies Viewing Options
Sony made trophy support a requirement for games released after 2009. It has been a big hit with the fan base so far. For Firmware 3.0, Sony is enhancing the user experience when viewing trophies. The new update will allow you to sort for an individual game in two categories: base and add-on. This will make it easier to read your trophies on the XrossMediaBar of the Playstation 3.

3. The "What's New" Feature
