Mr. New Material
Lil' Wayne: The Carter III- Probably the most anticipated album of the year is Lil'Wayne's "Carter III" which is expected to hit stores in December. With a list of flaming guest appearances under his belt, Lil' Wayne could be on his way to outselling any of his other albums such as "The Block is Hot" and "The Carter." His recent appearances on endless mix tapes make his album an exclusive hot product for fans and haters alike... Even with all the previous gossip in relation to his personal life, ghostwriting rumors as well as legal matters, he still continues to stay focused on getting one thing, CASH MONEY!

Jay-Z: American Gangster- The head honcho in charge of Def Jam/ Roc-a-Fella is back at it again with his anticipated release titled "American Gangster", set to be released in November. Loosely based on the upcoming Denzel flick titled American Gangster, Hov plans to weave in and out of beats with his hardcore NY flow just as he always did. Although his last CD "Kingdome Come" didn't turn out as great as he planned, his fans still await to see what the "Jiggaman" has to offer all over again. He has a chance to prove if his "I'm what hip hop's been missing" claim is correct.

Nas: Nigger- The Queens Bridge rapper known as Nas preps to release his controversial album titled "Nigger" in December. Even though the name of the album goes back and forth between different titles, it is sure to be certified as another Nas classic. With his missing milk box appearance, Nas fans have been eagerly awaiting another album like "Illmatic". It remains to be seen if the self proclaimed "God's Son" can go back to his roots on this album and put himself back into the spotlight as one of the greats.

G-Unit: Shoot To Kill- With the release of "Curtis" earlier this year; the G-Unit general 50 cent once again plans to drop another G-Unit album. The G-Unit cast compiled of 50 cent, Tony Yayo, Young Buck and Lloyd Banks plan to take charge by releasing their new compilation of lyrical assault on "Shoot to Kill" in December. Other G-Unit members such as Spider Loc, MOP and Mobb Deep are expected to make appearances throughout the album. After the major success of the first G-Unit album "Beg for Mercy", it will make it interesting to see if "Shoot to Kill" can keep up with the hype. Either way, this is set to be one of the hottest releases before the year is over. The single featuring Lil' Kim "Wanna Lick" has already hit the airwaves.

Saigon: The Greatest Story Never Told- The BK Kid is finally set to release his freshman album "The Greatest Story Never Told", finally. After tons and tons of setbacks due to label difficulties, Saigon is finally going to get his chance to shine. The buzz surrounding "The Yardfather" is heating up like blacktop on a hot Arizona day. Saigon, who has made recent appearance on mix tapes and even the HBO show Entourage, spits pure hard life lyrics of streets and wisdom combined. The countdown to his anticipated December release has begun.
