Walt Disney World, "The Place That Walt Built", "The Happiest Place Of all", and "To All Of You Who Come To This Happy Place...WELCOME" are just a few of the choice phrases associated with this awesome vacation getaway. For anyone looking for an ideal vacation spot filled with excitement, amusement and awe, Walt Disney World is the place. For the adult, the kid in all of us and our children, Walt Disney World affords us the luxury of having a wonderful time and "a dream come true". Walt Disney World should be experienced by all and not just because I am biased, having worked there and experienced, first hand, the magic that is Disney, but because of what it has to offer both child and grownup. Most of us travel to Disney World with their children and since this is a growing trend, I will give a list of the top five, in my opinion, of the must see attractions that your children should not miss before returning home.

The first two are found at the Magic Kingdom, the third is found at Disney MGM Studio, the forth is located at Epcot Center and the last one is at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The It's a Small World attraction has been fascinating and mesmerizing children of all ages for eons, in fact, it is the number one attraction all time at Walt Disney World. You will experience It's a Small World while leisurely cruising along in a boat. Throughout your journey, you will experience different lands, cultures and languages experienced throughout the world. Music, song and dance combined with the colorful clothing, highlights and icons that are characteristic of each particular country add to the ambiance. While you are traveling throughout the world you will hear the catchy song entitled "it's a Small World" performed in the actual dialect of that particular country. This is definitely a excursion that should not be missed.

The second is called "Mickey's Toontown Fair" and is located close to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland. Here, kids can encounter such things as Minnie's Country House. Here you can witness first hand, where Minnie resides. From her heart shaped weathervane to the cartoonish furniture, kids will enjoy exploring her home and even have a chance to visit with her in her gazebo in the back of her house.

The Barnstormer at Goofy's Wiseacre Farm is a kid friendly roller coaster on Goofy's crop duster. Kids can also experience a petting zoo and view other animals that reside with Goofy on his farm.

Mickey's Country House is, you got it, his actual house where you can view all things that are, well Mickey! Again this an ideal place for kids to meet and greet Mickey.

Toontown Hall of Fame is located by Goofy's Wiseacre Farm and is another great place to meet Mickey, Minnie as well as the rest of the gang under the tent.

Now, switching gears somewhat while heading to Disney MGM Studio there is a wacky 3-D movie where kids can experience the behind the scenes look into Muppet labs. The zaniantics and enjoyment that Jim Henson's Muppet's have been providing come together in this amusingly funny film, so put on your special 3-D glasses and get ready for a knee slapping good time.

While experiencing Disney's Epcot Center(Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow), don't forget to visit The Seas with Nemo and Friends. This attraction is located at Future World. Inspired by Disney*Pixar Studios hit "Finding Nemo", everyone can explore the undersea world with Nemo in the "Clamobile". Meet all of Nemo's friends and also explore the live marine life in the gigantic tank. Interact with Crush the turtle in "Turtle talk" and enjoy all the other treasures underwater without getting wet.

The last "must see" for kids is at Disney's newest theme park, and is called Disney's Animal Kingdom. The "Tree of Life" is an icon at Disney's Animal Kingdom that can't be missed as it towers above the park at 14 stories tall. The tree is fifty feet wide with a dozen artisans providing a tapestry of 325 animals carved into the tree. This provides the centerpiece to Disney's Animal Kingdom. It is also home to "It's Tough To Be a Bug" form Disney*Pixar's "BUGS LIFE" movie. Here you can experience life as if you were a bug and with the special 3-D glasses, you will be offered a truly unique perspective of just what it would be like to live the life of a bug. From the numerous different types of bugs encountered like the Stink Bug to the dreaded spiders and flying insects, you will not be disappointed and realize finally how tough it is to be a bug. Don't say I didn't warn you either of the surprises you will experience while being enthralled by this hilarious cast of characters for they will remain with you for along time in a good way of course!

So, there you have it, the top five attraction that should not be missed while experiencing Walt Disney World and all it has to offer. This is just a short list of attractions and doesn't represent the ONLY attractions solely for kids. Their are so many things to see and do, that it will take a week or longer to experience all that is Disney at this magical place-hopefully this list will be a good starting point to your adventure in experiencing Walt Disney World.
