5. Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles
Publisher: Capcom, Developer: Capcom, Release Date: November 17
After the big success of The Umbrella Chronicles in the autumn of 2007, the Resident Evil series returns to the Nintendo Wii again with The Darkside Chronicles. Players will relive some of the best moments in Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica in an on-rails first-person shooting perspective. Fans of the series will also love the fact that the game will include a brand new chapter to the saga as well.
4. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
Publisher: Square Enix, Developer: Square Enix, Release Date: Late 2009
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers has been a long time coming. The action role-playing exclusive Nintendo Wii game is well worth the wait, however, thanks to beautiful graphics in addition to the innovative telekinesis gameplay. Without a doubt, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers will be the best role-playing game released this autumn on the Nintendo Wii.
3. Dead Space: Extraction
Publisher: Electronic Arts, Developer: Eurocom and Visceral Games, Release Date: September 29
Dead Space became of the biggest surprise hits in 2008 when it was released last autumn. Dead Space: Extraction brings the outer space horror experience to the Nintendo Wii this autumn. Players can expect the action to be up close and personal as the first-person rail shooter contains new enemies, puzzles and branching paths. With co-op to boot, Dead Space: Extraction should be a fun thrill ride when it comes out this autumn.
2. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
Publisher: Konami, Developer: Climax Studios, Release Date: November 3
The original Silent Hill is still one of the scariest video games ever made. The remake, Shattered Memories, is looking to up the ante this autumn on the Nintendo Wii. In addition to better graphics and added motion controls support, the upcoming title will also "read" you as you play the game and will change certain aspects based on your actions. Thus, you will never have the same experience twice when playing this autumn game.
1. New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Publisher: Nintendo, Developer: Nintendo, Release Date: Fourth Quarter 2009
The last 2D Mario game came out on the Super NES. This autumn, Nintendo is returning back to their roots with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. While the classic 2D run-and-jump gameplay is still fun, it is the added four-play cooperative mode that will make the upcoming autumn game a blast to play with friends. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is looking like another excellent game in the series. You won't find a better Nintendo Wii game this autumn.
