2. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES
Publisher: Atlus, Developer: Atlus, Release Date: April 22, ESRB Rating: M
Released last summer, Persona 3 was one of the best Role-Playing games on the Playstation 2. Unfortunately, it was also one of the rarest. This spring, gamers get a second chance thanks to a new re-release with hours of extra content in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 FES. Just make sure to buy it early since the game will be in rare quantities in due time. It's a lot better buying it for $29.99 than coughing up $60 or more on eBay.
1. Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection
Publisher: Konami, Developer: Kojima Productions, Release Date: March 18, ESRB Rating: M
Speaking of values, no other games hold a candle to Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection. This package comes with three of the greatest video games of all time: Metal Gear Solid for Playstation and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence for Playstation 2. That is three modern day classics for just $29.99. What better way to prepare for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots than by reliving the series from the very beginning? Without a doubt, Metal Gear Solid: Essential Collection is the best Playstation 2 games released in the spring.
