Warm Weather is Here, Time to Uncover Those Beautiful Legs

Smooth legs. We all want them, especially in the spring and summer months. No more hiding behind those heavy slacks. The tips listed below are a kind of mix of what I've discovered on my own, and some products specifically for regaining those lovely legs.

Top Five Products For Smooth Legs-Nair

I know, who likes the feel of this cream on your hands.I don't know about you, but I' always afraid I'll\ accidentally run my fingers through my hair or itch my head. What a disaster that would be! Nair has a product to resolve that now, roll on Nair. If it works as well as the original, you're in for a treat. I have used Nair in the past and have had excellent results. Not only was hair removed, but stayed so for weeks. At the find , you will find any Nair product you may be searching for, and very inexpensive too. The roll on is a mere $1.99.

Top Five Products For Smooth Legs-Exfoliant Pre-Razor Shave

I just love the results of St.Ives for an exfoliant before shaving. My legs are so smooth after the shave. There is a St. Ives product specifically for the shower and for your whole body, not just the face, and that is St. Ives In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish, Oatmeal & Shea Butter. This runs a little over eight dollars and can be bought at any drugstore. I will tell you though, I never went for the specialty product. I actually use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, Invigorating meant for the face and get excellent results. This goes for around $.00 in any drugstore.

Top Five Products For Smooth Legs-Pre-Razor Shave Shaving Cream

Saving cream is very important if you want to get that nice close shave. A great women's shaving cream is Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Cream with Vitamin E&Aloe for Sensitive Skin. This product can be found in any drugstore and price range is from about $3.00 to $5.00 depending on the drugstore you frequent.

I have found that using hair conditioner does a great job and leaves legs unbelievably smooth. If you use this method though, be sure to clean you razor with every swipe. Also, after using this method, be sure to clean legs thoroughly afterward as to not clog any pores.

Top Five Products For Smooth Legs-Razors

The important thing to remember when shaving with a razor, is to not do so until you've been soaking in that hot shower or bath for a few minutes. This will make the shave easier and closer. Be very careful and take you time so as to avoid nicks in your skin. Not only are these unsightly, but they tend to bleed a lot. The best razor I found so far was the Gillette Venus Divine, Razor for Women at $10.99. The downside to this razor is very expensive replacements. You can buy this product at drugstore.

Top Five Products For Smooth Legs-After Removal of Hair-Moisturizing

No matter what moisturizer you use, do not d so immediately upon shaving. Give you legs a little "air time". Sometimes little bumps will appear if you use moisturizer too fast after shaving or hair removal. I would recommend at least an hour prior to moisturizing.

Moisturizing really depends on your skin type, so this is a little more of a personal choice that you'll have to do a little comparing in. Again, no need for specialty stores, you can find exactly what you need in any local drugstore. I will say though that my favorite is Jergans Intense Moisture Therapy Lotion. This is found in your local drugstore between $4.00 and $6.00.

This may sound like a lot, but it really isn't. Cost efficient, and once you get a pattern down, you'd be amazed at just how little time it takes to achieve gorgeous movie star legs.

Very informative. But I still prefer to keep my legs clad and skip events like swimming. Makes life just that little bit easier :-)
