Top Five PS2 Games that Need a PS3 Remake

It's no secret that Sony has made a name for themselves in the gaining industry with the release of the first generation Playstation. They didn't hold their own against veteran console developers Nintendo and SEGA, they dominated. It was more of the same when Playstation 2 was released late 2000. In it's 6 year console lifespan(PS3 was released in 2006) there have been da handful of games that enough fun to warrant a remake on Sony's current video game workhorse.

Twisted Metal Black.
Twisted Metal Black presented a darker vision of the unique personalities present in this classic car combat series. Twisted Metal Black's narrative and gloomy storyline would have to see a grand reimagining on the PS3 with enhanced special effects, extended cinematic and more insight into the the background of Sweet Tooth.

Rez.
Rez is a...well...a fairly interesting game to say the least. You control a humanoid character, flying threw a world of vector graphics.It's the weirdest rail shooter you'll ever lay eyes upon. I've never been much of a drug user,but I'm told it's a good representation of what you see when on an acid trip. That's pretty funny. I wonder how that Trance Vibrator add on plays into simulating that experience.

Ico.
Ico was visually stunning, and surprisingly compelling when it was released on Playstation 2. The makers of this game managed to do something I thought was impossible. They somehow made guiding a defenseless bystander around a virtual world into a fun gaming experience. Ico is probably the only escort mission based game that didn't turn out to be a giant of an annoyance.

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology.
Street Fighter IV proved that Capcom was very capable of bringing their legendary cast of brawlers into the third dimension. It also proved that the fanbase is very loyal. What better way to reward said fans than by once again releasing Alpha Anthology, but with a complete graphics overhaul? I'd give my right arm to see Street Fighter Alpha 3 with High Definition graphics.

Hitman: Blood Money.
The Hitman series reached it's Climax with Hitman: Blood Money. Hitman is one of the best stealth games you can buy,that isn't branded with Tom Clancy's name, or feature a tough old guy who likes to hide in boxes. Agent 47 slits throats, uses human shields, breaks necks, and other fun stuff that kids don't have the psyche to view without becoming scarred for life and stuff.

There are a lot more than just five games deserving of an extended remake, but these are video games that would end up having more interesting results. Sony and Microsoft set a tone when it came to defining "next generation" gaming. It's all about detail. Not only do the games look gorgeous, but the physics and game play mechanics are quite impressive as well. If these games are good on outdated hardware, think about how good they'll be on a superior platform like Playstation 3.
