Sonic the Hedgehog is down on its luck lately with one bad 3D game after another. Fortunately, the blue speedster has still got it in the 2D plane. Sonic Rivals 2 brings back Sonic the way it was meant to be played: in 2D. With multiple playable characters in addition to multiplayer modes, Sonic Rivals 2 makes a great purchase as a PSP Greatest Hits title.
4. Mortal Kombat: Unchained

Mortal Kombat is one of the most recognizable fighting franchises in gaming. Mortal Kombat: Unchained brings the brutal action and finishing moves to the PSP. Aside from the usual fighting modes, players can partake in several innovative modes like chess, puzzle and even an adventure. The PSP version further expands on the content with new modes and characters.
3. Fight Night Round 3
Publisher: Electronic Arts Sport, Developer: Electronic Arts Chicago, Original Release Date: February 20, 2006, ESRB Rating: T
Despite the development studio behind the game closing down, the third game in the Fight Night series is said to be one of the best boxing games ever created. This PSP Greatest Hits title sports the best visuals the genre has seen yet in addition to hyper-realistic gameplay. Add in the ability to play with another player online of off and you have one of the best sports title on the PSP.
2. Patapon

The transition for Patapon to becoming a Greatest Hits title isn't all that momentous considering that the game launched at $19.99. Still, this PSP exclusive game deserved the heralded label due to its flashy visuals and truly original gameplay. Best played with headphones, Patapon will have you constantly tapping buttons in rhythm in its weird but engaging world.
1. God of War: Chains of Olympus

Just a little after a year on the market, God of War: Chains of Olympus is already a Greatest Hits title on the PSP. No other game deserved this status more than this killer app. God of War: Chains of Olympus squeeze the PSP's power to every last drop thanks to the spectacular visuals and intense gameplay. If you are one of the few PSP gamer who hasn't played God of War: Chains of Olympus yet, this will be a good time to pick the Greatest Hits title up.
