Top Five Ways on How to Get a Date

You Might Be Surprised!

Barbie Crafts
Is your dating life a little down right now? Maybe you feel like you will never get a date. Here are the top five steps on how to get a date. They may surprise you.

1. Quit Trying to Get a Date

It's Murhpy's Law, I guess, but quit trying so hard to get a date. Have you ever noticed how people who are trying to get pregnant will often do so after they adopt a baby? The same principle applies here. Quit stressing over how to get a date; it sends off desperate signals that scare everyone away.

2. Enjoy Your Life, With or Without a Date

Begin to focus on enjoying your life and the people who are in your life. You will radiate an ambiance of fun, peace, and happiness that will draw people to you.

3. Focus on Others and Their Needs

Begin to look outside yourself; try to see how you can meet the needs of other people. This will not only make your life more fulfilling, but you will become a person that people cannot resist. And, the people that you help may have a handsome son or a beautiful daughter!

4. Improve Yourself

This may surprise you, but I don't mean for you to lose weight and get plastic surgery. Be the most attractive person that you can be. Be intelligent, well-read, positive, informed, clean, sparkling, colorful, and well put together.

5. Network and Socialize

Join and participate in activities that you enjoy. Meet people who know other people. Don't just show up at a single's bar or a church single's group with a big invisible Butterfly Net to catch a date or a mate. If you like to read, join a book club or frequent a book store with an adjoining coffee shop. If you play an instrument, join the worship band at your church. This puts you in the pathway of others who share your interests.

Final Thoughts

Quit trying to get a date and become a pleasant, fun person that someone would want to date. This is how to get a date
