Whether your caterer is on or off site, be sure you know exactly what all of your costs are. Do not let yourself pay more than what is agreed upon. Do not hesitate to ask what something costs. That being said; do not be afraid to see a $2 per person napkin charge or plating fees. Depending on how casual or elegant you want your wedding to be can also influence your costs. Talk to your caterer and be sure to shop around. Compare prices and make sure you are getting what you want. Don't be pushed into a meal you will not enjoy.

After all, it is your special day and your wedding caterer should be special too.
