Top Five New Year's Eve Martini Recipes

New Years is the start of a brand new year. A time for resolutions, starting over again, or if you are the partying type a day were you can let all your inhibitions go since it is the last day of the year. If you are all about parties and want to make your party memorable you can always have a theme party. The theme can be whatever you want, but it's usually easier if the theme is based around the drinks that you will be serving. I have some recipes here that taste good and if you can't remember the next day then you had a good party then. Here are some new twists to the Martini recipe. Depending on how many will be at your party you can change the servings on these recipes. If you don't, like some of us, have a book that has drinks recipes in there you can always check out stuff online. I have had some friends that have tried these different types of martini's out and they are all very good. Its a matter of taste.

Chocolate Martini

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

3/4 cup of Smirnoff Vanilla Flavored Vodka

¾ cup of Godiva Chocolate Liquor

2 oz. of chocolate shavings (milk, dark, or white chocolate)

Directions:

In a shaker with ice, add Smirnoff Vanilla Flavored Vodka and Godiva Original Liqueur.

Shake and strain into a martini glass.

Garnish with shaved chocolate (optional).

8 servings

If you would like to add a little of mint in your drink you can add a shot of Peppermint Schnapps to make it into Chocolate Mint Martini as an option.

Cheesecake Martini

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

6 oz. Smirnoff Strawberry Flavored Vodka

6 oz. Smirnoff Vanilla Flavored Vodka

8 splashes of cranberry juice

Directions:

Fill shaker with ice.

Add Smirnoff Strawberry Flavored Vodka, Smirnoff Vanilla Flavored Vodka, and cranberry juice.

Shake and strain into a martini glass.

You can garnish with Whipped Cream and some slices of strawberries or you can leave it the way it is.

Black Dream Martini

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

8 oz. Smirnoff Black Cherry Flavored Vodka

8 oz. Godiva Mocha Liqueur

4 oz. milk

8 splashes Grenadine

Directions:

Fill shaker with ice.

Add Smirnoff Black Cherry Flavored Vodka, Godiva Mocha Liqueur, milk, and grenadine.

Shake and strain into a martini glass

Add a Bing cherry to garnish (optional)

Cuervo Platino Pear Martini

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

12 oz. Cuervo Platino

8 oz. pear purée

8 squeeze's fresh lemon juice

6 oz. simple syrup

8 piece's lime wheel

Directions:

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with lime wheel.

Cranberry Apple Martini

Drink Recipe Ingredients:

8 oz. Smirnoff Cranberry Flavored Vodka

4 oz. Smirnoff Green Apple Flavored Vodka

4 oz. cranberry juice

8 slices apple

Directions:

Add cranberry juice, Smirnoff Green Apple Flavored Vodka, Smirnoff Cranberry Flavored Vodka.

Shake with ice and strain into a pre-chilled martini glass.

Garnish with apple slice
