North Canton, OH 44720
For many people, there's nothing more relaxing than a day of golf. If you're in North Canton, there are three courses worth visiting. I've listed them below with the highest rated course being number one.
1. Bob 'O Link Golf Resort
2400 Applegrove St NW
North Canton, OH
44720
Phone: (800)203-0331
Fax: (330)497-9056

By far the best golf resort in North Canton, Bob 'O Link was built in 1965 and still remains open to the public. Bob 'O Link offers pavilions, a ball room, and two courses, the North course and the South course, covered with beautiful bluegrass on the fairways and bent grass on the greens.
Dress Code: Shoes and shirts required.
Cost: An 18 hole weekday peak season is $17, 9 holes are $11. 18 hole weekend peak season is also $17, while the 9 holes are $13. Senior and junior discounts are available; senior discount starts at age 60. Bob 'O Link accepts both Visa and Master Card.
Pros: For those who prefer to start the day early, the courses open at 6:30 AM. Bob 'O Link is open all year. Metal spikes are allowed. There are gas golf carts available to rent (18-hole is $10 per person, 9-hole is $5 per person); pull carts are available for a $2 rental fee. Walking the course is also allowed. Driving range and putting green are both available. 36-hole, with water hazards including ponds and creeks; there's approx. 1-10 sand bunkers.
Cons: Bob 'O Link offers no caddies; you must bring your own. There are no pros on site. There are no restaurants either, only a snack bar. Fivesomes not allowed.
2. Arrowhead Country Club of
North Canton
1500 Rogwin Cir SW
North Canton, OH
44720
Phone: (330)499-5922
Fax: (330)499-0140
While the Arrowhead Country Club of North Canton has a beautiful golf course, it must be stated up-front that it is a private club, and no guests are allowed. You must be a member to use the course. My honest opinion is, with Bob 'O Link so close, there is no reason to attend Arrowhead. However, if you are looking for the perks of having a club membership, than Arrowhead is the best option you will find in North Canton.
Dress Code: Denim is forbidden. Only shirts with a collar and Bermuda shorts are allowed.
Cost: An 18 hole weekday peak season is $45, 9 holes are $22.50. 18-hole weekend peak season is also $50, while the 9 holes are $25.
Pros: Arrowhead is open year around, save for Monday, when it is closed. Electric carts are included in green fees. Caddies and rental clubs are available. Snack bar, beverage cart, and restaurant are all available; a full service bar is also available. Driving range, teaching pro, sand and chipping area, and putting range are also available.
Cons: No metal spikes or Fivesomes allowed. No pull-carts available. No discounts or senior discounts.
3.Brookside Country Club
1800 Canton AveNE
Canton, OH
44708
Phone: (330)477-6505
Fax: (330)477-3108
E-mail: info@brooksidecc.com
There's not much of a difference between Brookside Country Club and Arrowhead Country Club, except that Brookside isn't quite as strict Arrowhead and lacks some of Arrowhead's features; it is also the most expensive out of the three listed.
Brookside is also a private club, with a no guest's policy.
Dress Code: Shoes and shirt required.
Cost: Weekday and weekend 18-hole peak seasons are $80 each.
Pros: Approx. 50 - 60 sand bunkers available; water hazards are also available. Gas Golf Carts are available for $33 per person per 18 holes, or $16.50 per person per 9 holes. Caddies and rental clubs are both available. Driving range, putting greens, sand and chipping area, and teaching pro available. Beverage cart, snack bar, and restaurant are also available.
Cons: Pull carts are not available. No metal spikes or Fivesomes. Open April - October, closed the rest of the year.
There you have it, the three best golfing courses in North Canton, Ohio. If you're not interested in a club membership, Bob 'O Link is the best choice in North Canton, offering two courses for a total of 36 holes, cheap prices, and nearly the same features as the other two, more expensive clubs.
