Top Haunted House Attractions in Alabama

Mark
The average American enjoys taking in a few haunted house attractions every year before Halloween.

The Haunted Chicken House is located in Heflin, Alabama off Highway 431 and begins on October 2. The ghastly haunt is open from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. every Friday and Saturday, including the first Saturday of November. The cost to enter this dominion of fright is $10 for the Haunted Chicken House and $10 for the hayride. But if you bring more than 25 people, you get a great discounted rate. This includes a hayride with up close scares and frights along the way, as well as live music on the 24th and 25th from Chaotic Theory, a local band. The Haunted Chicken House includes scenes with Freddy and Jason, as well as many others that need no introductions. So now you have the info, are you too chicken to go in?

Graystone Manor
is the haunting trek of those who wish to cover over 30,000 feet of frights. This is located off of Highway 72 in Killen, Alabama. What a proper name for such a scary place! The tickets are only $13.50 per person Sunday through Thursday, and hours are 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Friday and Saturday, the cost is $15, and hours are from 7 until the frightening stroke of midnight. But, if you want to get there and go straight through with no lines, get the VIP Fastpass for $20. You will beat all your friends through. While they are standing in line to get scared, you've already been there and been scared! During the entire month of October, a local band called The Cornstalkers will be playing, trying to help you make it through the night. What could be better to help keep the creatures away than the music of demons themselves? The old story is that Dr. Vanburen built Graystone in the early 18th century, where he began practice as a surgeon. Although many think of Doctors as healers, this man was not. He had a hunger for flesh, as I'm sure his wife could tell you. She died a mysterious death, which to this day has not a clue to help officials. Will you dare to enter the haunted walls of Graystone Manor?

The Chamber Of Chills is located in the city of Lanett, Alabama on Phillips Road. The tower of taunting screams is open on October 24th, 25th, 31st and November 1st from 8 p.m. until 11. This haunted trail freak show is not recommended for children, but they are allowed to enter, but only with adult supervision. The actors in this grim gala can touch you, but will not grab unless they are really hungry! After moving from so many different locations, this is finally home for the Chamber of Chills 4 Nights Of Horror. The characters from the grisly tales of old need no introduction, nor an invitation to snatch some food tonight. Will you be the next victim?
