Ok, so next up on my list of great gifts for 5 year old girls that cost over $200 is the fabulous Power Wheels Dora the Explorer Jeep by Power Wheels (Fisher Price). I love this jeep! I have to say that Dora has been one of the most popular new characters to really be loved by my niece. So, when I saw this great remake of the traditional electric jeep for girls in the Dora theme I had to take notice. The jeep cost about $200 and induces a lot of great extras. My favorite extra is the Dora themed backpack for storing treasures. My little niece loves to ride around and collect all kinds of "treasures" form the yard and store them away in her back pack. Seriously she can do this for hours. The Max speed of the jeep is 3.5 mph, which does not seem real fast to you or I, but my little niece feels like she is racing down the road! There is only one seat in this jeep, which is a smart safely move. The Dora Jeep is sold only at Toys R Us. You can order it online if you don't live near a Toys R Us. It runs on a 6 volt battery and is perfect for a five year old girl! It also comes with a great little map to encourage imagination and play time.
My final recommendation for a great gift for a five year old girl is the Upscale Party Time Kitchen byStep2. I love this kitchen. Seriously I could play with it for hours myself and I have not been 5 years old for a long time. The Upscale Party Time kitchen is a compact kitchen has three sides to play kitchen in. It comes with numerous activities and accessories to really get the kids playing. It also has realistic electronic features, which I wish had been around when I was a child. This modern kitchen features the coveted stainless steel look appliances. It also has "granite" countertops. Seriously, this kitchen is better than my real kitchen! It also has a storage drawer and cabinets with authentic hardware. My favorite part of this play kitchen is the 33 piece accessory set. Everything a little girl could want in a kitchen is in this accessory set! The Upscale Party Time Kitchen byStep2 costs just at $200 after taxes. This is definitely a gift that can be kept generation to generation.
