AOL is also known for its messenger application that allows users to communicate with each other. With AOL you get a free trial access to dial up internet for a period of 90 days after which you can terminate the services if you don't like, otherwise you can continue with the services.

EarthLink

EarthLink is yet another internet service provider that operates in United States. EarthLink provides high speed DSL and broadband internet access to its customers along with dial up internet facility. The plan rate starts from 9.99$ to 72.95$ per month depending on the user's need and speed. Dial Up plans are available from 9.99$ to 12.50$ a month, the only limitation being that the speed is only 56 Kbps (Kilo Bits per second). The actual transfer rate will be maximum 7 KB (Kilo Bytes).

DSL plans are available from 12.95$ to 69.95$ a month depending on the speed required by the customer and cable plans available from 29.95$ to 72.95$ a month, whereas, satellite plan is available from 69.95$ to 99.95$ a month.

For new broadband customers, it offers 10$ high speed internet service with free Wi-Fi for selected connections. For 10$ plan you will have to commit for a 12 month term. AT&T also provides g=high speed connection that runs at a speed of 1.5 Mbps onwards both upstream and downstream.

PeoplePc Online

PeoplePc online is another internet service provider that deals in dial up internet access only. It provides 50% discount for the first 3 months and thereafter charges full amount on a monthly basis. The best part about PeoplePc Online is that offers unlimited dialup access to its customers.

Cogent Communications

Cogent communications is a leader among internet service provides that provides dedicated internet connections to companies and other big tycoons. The bandwidth provided by Cogent communications varies from 1.5 Mbps to 10000 Mbps and it provides services like dedicate internet access, Ethernet point to point and collocation services.
