Fishing season is upon us, and I have got the itchin' for fishin'. There are many places to fish in Kansas and Missouri. This guide will show you a few and how to set up the tours. If you like to fish as much as I do, this will be invaluable information.

First, I will tell you that the ESPN Bassmaster series comes through Kansas and Missouri, dates include March-September. The Men of Bass professional bass team fish in the ESPN bassmaster series. They have a program called fishing with a pro, The Joe Bass Team Trail program allows sponsors and guest an opportunity to fish with the Men of Bass. You register with a pro then fish with him in a professionally run bass tournament. They fish Missouri and Oklahoma lakes, and it is a great way to experience professional fishing first hand. If you are interested contact:
Men of Bass 2 W. 98th Terrace Kansas City, Mo. (816-729-0181) www.menofbass.com go to www.joebassteamtrail.com for rules.

If fishing with the pros seems a little intimidating, there are other tours you can take or guides you can contact. Try "Cat Daddy guide & Tour- an outdoor adventure" located in Topeka, Kansas their motto is "Reaching Cat fisherman around the world". There are more in Kansas and surrounding areas, I cut this short because if I told you about them all, you would be reading this until fishing season was over.
Now that you have a list of where to go and check out some prime fishing spots, get out there and catch some fish. Have fun.
