Route One Minature Golf is currently celebrating its 50th year in the Boston area. If you've ever driven by you probably know the park by their large orange dinosaur. The park features an 18-hole miniature gold course as well as batting cages and an arcade. The traditional mini golf course features large animal obstacles suck as a lion, walrus, and elephant. There is a hole with a giant windmill, and a few double holes as well. Visitors also have the opportunity to win a free game of golf by ringing the siren on the 18th hole.

If you'd like a little scare in your mini-gold experience then Monster Mini Golf is for you. The course features 18 holes of monster filled fun with monsters at every hole. The monsters are for the most part the fun kind (not the scary kind) so younger kids should be ok. The course is indoors, which makes it an excellent choice for a rainy day. All of the holes are also glow-in-the-dark which also makes for a pretty interesting mini-golf experience. Prices for the golf course range from $5.50-$7.50 and are based on height rather than age. In addition to the mini-golf course Monster Golf has an arcade with things like glow in the dark air hockey and skee-ball where you can win tickets that can be redeemed for prizes.

This traditional mini golf course has a good deal of water obstacles along the course which makes for a fun game. The course also sells ice cream for an added treat after a game on a hot summer day.

Hago Harringtons is a fairly affordable miniature golf option in the Boston area. The 18-hole course is fairly easy to go through and is perfect for smaller children who are trying mini-golf for the first time and may not be ready for the complicated courses at other parks. A hole in one on the last hole will win you a free game.
