Top MMORPGs: MapleStory and GhostOnline

Lately i have been playing many MMORPG's. For those that do not know what a MMORPG - or MMO for short - it stands for Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game. I don't know what has caught my eyes in these games but they are very addicting. The two that surprise me the most are Ghost Online and Maplestory. They are both MMO's and are played widely over the world.

These games both have the same concept. Go and kill a monster to gain experience points for gaining power and levels. This makes the game very boring and dull, you may think? That's not what almost 40 million people playing Maplestory think. Maplestory is a ripoff of a game called DragonGem, which a lot of people don't realize because the creators of Dragongem did not have enough money to support their game. Dragongem is still a game that is played often but has not expanded like Maplestory. Maplestory players always think that the game is real boring or lame, but as soon as they start playing most of them are taken and start loving it so much.

Maplestory has many addictive qualities. Some of which are earning mesos, the currency of Maplestory, begging for mesos, training with a friend, making friends and getting into guilds. This might not seem as fun until you actually get a hands on experience. The game has many mini-features that might make the game more interesting, such as weddings and jobs. The game is unique and interesting because of its growing population as well as its expansion of features. Maplestory has brought forth new game ideas such as the Malaysian game Ghost Online.

Ghost online is a ripoff of Maplestory. It has many different things. One thing i like about this game which Maplestory does not have is the running feature. It also has a meditation which allows you to gain your health much faster. The games is much more advanced than Maplestory. Its graphics are upped and gameplay is much different. Ghost online has the same goals as Maplestory, which is leveling and getting money, gold, in Ghost. Ghost online is a good game but also has disadvantages like Maplestory.

Maplestory has gameplay that is very repetitive and gets boring after a while. There are ways to get the gameplay more interesting but it makes the game to complicated. Ghost Online has the same problems, same repetitive gameplay. Maplestory is good, but is filled with hackers that spoil the game since it has such a big community. Ghost is a new game so it doesn't have problems. Ghost has some graphical problems. Sometime it doesn't run. Sometimes it runs in a windows. Sometimes it messes up your resolution, but when it gets working it gets fun.

All in all these games are very fun games to play in your spare time. Don't try to get addicted. These games won't benefit you ever. I have learned that.
