Top Nightlife in Orlando, Florida

Orlando, Florida offers more than just day-time family fun. If you're a creature of the night, you have plenty of places to choose from. Here are some of the top nightlife spots in Orlando, Florida.

After a long hard day at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, you can spend a long hard night at Universal Studios City Walk. City Walk offers some of the best nightlife in Orlando, Florida.

First, hit the Hard Rock. The Hard Rock Café is great fun for those twenty-one and up. You don't need to be twenty-one to get into most of the shows, but you do need to be twenty-one to drink up. So be sure to bring your ID. Order tickets early to get the best seats to music and comedy shows at Orlando's Hard Rock. The restaurant offers good food in a loud, casual atmosphere, so go early to grab a bite to eat.

Also at Universal Studios City Walk, you can waste away at Margaritaville. Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville offers great food at good prices, and of course, excellent Caribbean cocktails. The music is terrific, the service is stellar, and the atmosphere is laid-back yet full of energy. Be sure to try their margaritas. And don't forget to find that lost shaker of salt.

Night owls will also want to head out to Downtown Disney. Especially Raglan Road. If you want an authentic Irish pub atmosphere, there's no better place in Orlando. Order a pint or three and sit back, listening to catchy Irish drinking tunes - live at certain times of the evening. Raglan Road's food is also spectacular, so you may want to coat your stomach before you imbibe.

Next on your list should be the House of Blues. Check out their web site to find out who's playing and when. Britney Spears recently made an appearance, as well as many others. The House of Blues always offers good music and good food. Just be sure to buy your tickets well in advance. Tickets often sell out very fast.

Fifth and finally, check out Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney. Planet Hollywood is great for the older crowds, especially those bringing around kids. You can enjoy a drink or two while they stare at the cool Hollywood memorabilia on the walls. The food at Planet Hollywood is decent, as well as reasonably priced. The service, however, is somewhat lacking.

Enjoy the top nightlife in Orlando, Florida. And be sure to drink responsibly.
