Grocery shopping online can save you time and energy, but keep in mind that some e-tailers require someone be home to accept delivery and many do not deliver on the weekend.

Post a CommentEFOODDEPOT just doing SCAM THEY NEVER ACTUALLY SHIP THE PRODUCT BUT YOUR CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGE ANYWAY!!!!
I would never order from them again - nothing in stock, no follow-up to customers - worst experience ordering online that I've ever had.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM EFOODDEPOT.COM. Their customer service is non-existent. I have never dealt with a company that is so unprofessional and uncaring about their customers. We submitted a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about our experience. Again, save yourself hours, days, weeks, months of aggravation - DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Should I know the problem with Efooddepot I would have NOT ordered from them.
I ordered 5 boxes of chocolates the S&H for those order is $4.99, it turned out they sent me just 1 box and charged me 1 box + $4.99 S&H without letting me know that they are not available. The customer service is difficult to reach, calling 4 times of no results! Sending an email on Sunday has no response, it is Monday afternoon now. They charged the money 1/4/2010 and I have not received anything until 1/11/2010. Will return the shipping and dispute th charge!
I placed an order with Efooddepot on 29 December. I called 2 weeks later to check the status of my order. When I was finally able to talk to someone the representative told me that my order was going to leave the next day. Well two (2) weeks later I'm still waiting for my products. This is the last time I place an order with them and I will make sure tell everyone I know not to order from them.
i placed my order on 11/2/2009 and had an expected delivery of 7-10 business days. half of the order came two weeks after i placed my order with no explanation about the other half. i emailed twice without getting a response, had to wait to talk to someone on the phone. she said there were things that were back-ordered so she'd send whatever else first, so i got another package two weeks after. however, i'm still missing a colander after two months and will have to make another phone call since my third email still hasn't gotten a response. i'm never ordering from here again.
I had been using netgrocer for a few months during a time of no transportation. Initially it was perfection, then they made the serious mistake of switching all payments to paypal processing.
Stupid move for any business. It screwed up my cards due to the fact netgrocer holds payment, then they recharge a different fee if items not available. Paypal flags this as suspicious and you are then totally out of luck.
Not worth the grief at all. Paypal is not an insured protected merchant account people, when will you get this?
Otherwise delivery was good, customer service was really nice and helpful.
Thank you for the comments on efooddepot. At the time of this article's writing, reviews had been favorable. I hope future experiences with other online supermarket delivery is more favorable.
I also had trouble with efooddepot. I had not received anything several months after placing my order and asked to cancel my order. They ignored my request, and ended up charging my credit card and sending me the groceries five months after I ordered. I'll stay away from them from now on.
I'd love to try this. What a time saver. Great resource!
