Buckingham Valley Vineyards
As one of the first wineries in Pennsylvania this winery has a deep history to share, it offers self guided tours through the beautiful vineyards and picnic tables and resting areas great for sharing a glass of their 12 varieties of wine.
I had a fabulous experience here, the owners were wonderful and were very willing to answer questions and share their winery's history with me!

Rose Bank Winery
This winery is located in the historic section of Bucks County, with wonderful architecture and great historic homes all around it. Try one of their ten varities, and may I suggest one of their specialty wines, Rose Bank Blush! It is fruit and sweet and the perfect drink after a walk in the vineyards.

Crossing Vineyards
If you want to learn about wine, this is the spot! They can teach of every aspect form the vine to the table. The facilities at Country Creek about amazing. I must admit this is the only winery I have been to were I enjoy the views on the inside as much as they outside. Their wines are wonderful as well, offering not only their own selection, but a wide variety of wines from Pennsylvania.

And this is just the beginning; the Philadelphia Countryside has many great wineries mixed in with interesting and beautiful historic districts. If you are living in Philadelphia I definitely suggest taking some day trips, and outside of Philadelphia, come and stay for a while, there is a lot the Philadelphia Countryside has to offer!
