Top Pop Songs of 2009

Another year has slipped as we near the end of the decade. Here are the Top Pop Songs of 2009:

"Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. 2009 was the year of new pop artist Lady Gaga. "Just Dance", "Love Game", "Paparazzi", and her latest single "Bad Romance" are all top pop songs from 2009 as well.

"3" by Britney Spears: Britney Spears got her act together in 2009 and pumped out some excellent pop songs. "If You Seek Amy" and "Circus" are some of her top pop songs from 2009.

"Singles Ladies" by Beyoncé: That song became an instant anthem for all the single ladies as well as the taken ones. With a catchy hook and a video that spun off a string of impersonators this song was definitely one of the top pop songs of 2009. "Diva" and "Halo" were also some of the top pop songs that got a lot of radio play this year.

"Run This Town" by Rihanna. "Run This Town" is a pop song by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z and Kanye West is another colossal hit from 2009.

"Meet Me Half Way" by The Black Eyed Peas. "Meet Me Half Way" is a unique song with excellent vocals from Fergie and a fun and happy beat. "I Got a Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow" are also top pop songs of 2009.

"Evacuate The Dance Floor" by Cascada. Cascada wasn't a prominent artist through out most of 2009, but towards the end she released this infectious pop dance song with a beat that will definitely make you want to move.

"Fire Burning" by Sean Kingston. "Fire Burning" is an excellent song with an electro pop beat. Sean Kingston became instantly popular in the U.S with his past top hit songs such as "Beautiful Girls", "Take You There", and "Me Love."

"Hotel Room Service" by Pitbull. This song has some r-rated graphic innuendos that are easy to over look because its a fast paced song with an entertaining beat.

"Knock You Down" is by Keri Hilson featuring Neyo and Kanye West. Keri Hilson is no stranger to the music industry. She has written songs for top stars such as Neyo, Britney Spears, and Usher. She has even collaborated with mega producer Timbaland and was featured on his hit record "Shock Value." But this year marked her solo debut. "Turning Me On" featuring Lil' Wayne is a song that also recieved a lot of radio play this year.

"You Belong to Me" by Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift is an adorable teen music sensation. In 2009 she released a lot of top pop songs that became instantly loved by many young girls especially. "Fifteen" and "Love Story" are some of her most noteable songs from 2009.
