Keeping Your Car Looking Its Best

Most people would love to be able to maintain that new car appearance, no matter how old their car is; and it can now be managed with these 5 new products for car care.

1. Wheel Wax Magic Shine

All you do is spray it on, wipe it off, and viola - you have a shine. It can also be used over other waxes, such as carnuba waxes; and polymer sealants as well. It gives a fine layer of added protection.

This Wheel Wax Magic Shine can be used on all the surfaces on your car; body, metal, chrome or vinyl, to keep your car looking as clean and shiny as the day it was bought. An added benefit, it repels dirt, dust and pollens as well.

For those users of car care products who like to keep things "green," it is VOC compliant in all 50 states.

The average cost of this product is between $10 - $15, and be bought at most stores that sell car care products.

2. Laitner Ergonomic Wheel and Tire Brush

The design of this brush head is kind of like a triangle, allowing the brush head to enter almost any angle or crevice to do its cleaning job. The bristle design is quite unique. The bristles are made of polypropyline with crimped ends. This makes the bristles soft enough to be used on any surface of your car, without causing any type of damage; even soft enough not to damage your car's clear coat finish, or your anodized wheels.

The average cost of this brush is about $7 - $10, and can be bought at most stores that sell car care products.

3. Hose and Cable Catchers

Have you ever been washing your car, or using the buffer to shine it up and the hose or electric cable get caught under the wheels of the car? You have to stop what you're doing, and get the hose or cable out from under the tires. The Hose and Cable Catchers prevent this from ever happening again. All you do is, put one each in front of your front wheels and one each behind the back wheels, and your hose and cable will slide right by. This is an invaluable tool for anyone who does their own auto care.

The average cost of this product is about $12, and can be bought at most stores that sell car care products. I bought mine at Walmart.

4. Spoke and Slot Brush

This brush is another wonderful product of the Laitner Brush Company, and it shape is much like a narrow cone that makes it excellent for cleaning wheels with spokes or holes. It has the same polypropylene bristles with crimped ends as the Wheel and Tire Brush, and the rubber cap on the end of the brush protects your brakes from damage while you clean your wheel. It definitely makes cleaning your wheels an easy job.

5. Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax

Remember the old days of having to be careful of when you waxed your car? It couldn't be a hot day, or you couldn't wax in the direct sunlight. Now, that has all changed. This wax has a polymer base and is a spray that can be applied on hot surfaces, and in the direct sunlight. Just spray it on and buff it off. It will not leave streaks or a white residue like many paste waxes. Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax has no VOC's and will not stain your trim.

There are two sites that you can go to online where you can buy these products, or any need that you might have for keeping your car in new car shape. Along with the product listing, there is also instructions on how to use the product. They are both very helpful.
