Top Songs to Slow Dance to for Prom 09

~Addie~
Prom no doubt is a memorable time. I remember my high school prom, it was so much fun. From picking the dress to accessorising all of which was a very memorable experience. The one thing though that I can remember fully was slow dancing and to exactly what songs. People tend to think that is something that only girls do, remembering what songs they slow danced with their sweetie to, but infact you would be surprised at the number of guys that remember the song details too.

Though my senior prom was in 2002, I remember slow dancing with my sweet heart to Nelly/Kelly- Dilema, Usher- you got it bad, Ashanti- foolish and I will never forget the last song of the night Marvin Gaye- lets get it on. The songs that will be played at your prom will be memories you will have forever so make them count.

My top 10 songs for prom 2009 are:

1. Justin Timberlake- Until the end of time. This song is a classic and romantic and is sure to have you running out of your seat.

2. Leonna Lewis- Better in time.

3. Jonas Brothers- When you look me in the eyes. These boys who started out on Disney channel have really made a name for themselves and will be sure to make a lasting memory for prom.

4. Mariah Carey- I stay in love with you. You cant do prom with out a hit from Mariah.

5. Usher- Love in this club. Though this song is more of an up tempo slow song, this is the one that will have you rushing from the punch or the bathroom to get your date and get on the floor.

6. Ne-Yo- Mad. Love this song, way to set the mood.

7. Beyonce- At last. This old school classic turned new, redone by Beyonce is sure to be winner of requests and dedications.

8. Chris Brown- With you. Despite recent allegations and drama involving Chris Brown this singer/song writer still no doubt produces some great hits and this song is sure to be one of them.

Two of my all time favorite older songs that are still slow dance hits everywhere are:

9. Aalyiah- Let me know

10. Monica- Angel of mine.
