This is one of the most convenient public pools in Sacramento for recreational swim. It lasts from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., every day of the week except Thursday. Admission is $2 for adults (18+) and $1 for children. Johnston Pool and Wading Pool also offers swim lessons, water aerobics, and pool rentals, which means plenty of opportunities for enjoyment.
Natomas High School Pool

Kids and adults interested in lap swim, water aerobics, and competitive swim team will find what they need at the Natomas High School public pool. Lap swim for adults is available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children, and water aerobics costs $6 per visit, with free classes available to visitors over the age of 50.
Pannell Meadowview Recreational Pool

Recreational swim is a popular activity at Pannell Meadowview Recreational Pool. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children, though admission is doubled for visitors who wish to use the slide. This pool is also a host for Sacramento Masters Swimming for those who have joined that program.
George Sim Pool & Wading Pool

Enjoy recreational swim at this Sacramento public pool from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. The pool is large and clean, with lockers for your personal belongings and a safe environment for children. It's a great place to stop in the afternoon when the sun is at its highest and kids are anxious to cool off. The pool opens to the public on June 21 and closes August 28.

This Sacramento public pool is closed on Mondays, but offers both lap and recreational swim all other days of the week. Visit from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on weekends. There are plenty of other activities to entertain you in McKinley Park, so make sure to check out the rest of the facilities after you've completed your swim.
