Top (Reasonably Priced) Colognes for Us Guys - A rundown of eight great colognes for men.

1. Fahrenheit (Christian Dior) - This one is the magnet. I've heard guys tell other guys just how good they smelled. Yeah, that's not supposed to happen but this cologne is the one will keep the ladies at your mercy. You don't have to overspend on this one either. While some of the department stores will charge nearly $45 for a 1.7 ounce bottle, you can find it for $28 if you are trying not to spend too much.

Locations to be found: Macy's, WalMart, Target

2. CK Obsession (Calvin Klein) This cologne is all about subtly. You don't want to confuse it with its cousins, CK One or CK BE, which both can be considered gender busters when it comes to cologne. (XX/XY chromosome colognes if you get my drift.) CK Obsession is a bit sturdier and is distinctively more of a man's stench but not too overpowering. This one goes for about $45 to $55 wherever I have seen it. This is probably the one cologne on this list that most people swear by.

Locations to be found: Macy's, JC Penney, Younkers

3. Lucky #6 (Lucky) - This is one of my lady friend's personal favorites. This is an ideal "stand-by" cologne. It isn't a scent that is going to knock you off your feet but it really keeps things nice and simple. It is one of the less expensive colognes but still its fragrance is one that serves well for a simple night out. You'll find it for $22 to roughly about $35.

Locations: Target, Kohl's, Gordmans

4. Hugo (Hugo Boss)- Hugo is just a little kickier than most. This one is not about bells and whistles. This is just a straight up good cologne for everyday wear. Although I wouldn't go "special occasion" with it, I also would not do without it. This is a great cologne and it normally goes for right around $40.

Locations: Kohl's, Macy's, Younkers

5. Swiss Army (Swiss Army) I personally like this one quite a bit. My wife absolutely loves it. It most certainly is not a formal cologne but rather sporty and not a lot else. One other thing that makes this such a great cologne is the price. It is the perfect "Average Joe" cologne. It routinely runs for $28 but often times you can find it for less than $20.

Locations: Gordmans, Kohl's, Target

6. Chrome (Azzaro) This is a firm and very masculine cologne. If I were to pick a darkhorse cologne in a race, this would be the one. This one is the "take charge" cologne in the boardroom. It never is too expensive and often times you can score this one really cheap, especially after the holidays if you can imagine that. It has a scent that genuinely perseveres. Normally you'll be able to get it for about $30. This cologne is so awesome it even has its own website.

Locations: Target, Macy's, Younkers

7. Tommy (Tommy Hilfiger) This is a good cologne when you need to jazz things up a bit. It is a more racy cologne that seems to attract a lot of attention. I wouldn't bother using this in your normal daily routine but rather when you are trying to bring a little attention your way. You should be able to find it for around $38 to $50

Locations: Can practically be found anywhere

8. Cool Water (Davidoff International) Easily the most outdoorsy cologne on the list. This cologne is rugged and robust. This is a cologne probably the one I would consider most tailored to a specific genre. Its firmness is its calling card. You will most likely find it in the price range from $43 to $48.

Locations: Macy's, Younkers, Kohl's
