Looking at all of he newspapers and all of the shows on television it is very easy to start comparing yourself to celebrities. You see moms liked Jada Pinkett Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker, and even Angelina Jolie and see how involved they are with their children and their own careers, and wonder if you can do the same. Unfortunately there are many moms who fail to realize what these celebrities have and what regular working moms lack. Below are several reasons why you should set your own goals, and not compare yourself.
Nanny Support team
The majority of celebrities have more than one nanny to help them care for their kids. Especially when they are working. The nannies even travel with them to make sure that all of the needs of the kids are met. Many working moms will hire babysitters but this is only for the time that they are at work. Once they arrive home the sitter leaves and they are left to care for everything, and keep the kids busy at the same time.
Maids
Most of the celebrity moms also have maids to do all of the housework for them. If you stopped to think about it for a minute how much time would you save in a day if you had someone to clean for you? This includes having someone take the time to do the laundry for you as well. It would certainly make it appear like you have super mom syndrome, and are really able to handle it all.
Personal assistant
Can you name one celebrity who does not have a personal assistant, and has children? If you have someone to follow you around the office on a daily basis and remind you of what is needed to get things done, it would certainly help. A personal assistant is what many of these moms use to keep their day in order and make sure they still find a few hours for themselves. So unless you have the money for a personal assistant you really can not be upset if you found yourself burnt out after a day's working, and then forgetting something you were supposed to do.
The money to pay for it all
Let's face it, the type of work that celebrity moms do compared with regular working moms, is a huge difference. Once big difference is the large paycheck that the celebrities receive. Think about how much they make just for doing a simple commercial. Most families who have a working mom, have to work extra hard for a much lower rate of pay. Many of these families also live from paycheck to paycheck, so there is added stress of being able to cover all of their bills.
