1. The Melting Pot located at 13164 N. Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa is my first choice of restaurants for a romantic evening out. Here you can enjoy a delicious menu of fondue choices in a four course meal in a beautiful atmosphere. For your main course you can choose from their Fondue Feast with specialties such as fillet mignon, roasted shrimp, and duck al'a orange just to name a few. Others may enjoy their Lobster Indulgence with cold water lobster tails ending the evening with a delicious dessert such as their White Chocolate Creme Brulee. Their food is amazing and you cannot beat the intimate atmosphere. Prices vary depending upon what meal you choose but the Fondue Feast runs around $80 a couple while the Lobster Indulgence is $94 a couple. They also feature an extensive drink and wine list. 2. Berns Steak House is my second choice for romantic restaurants in Tampa Florida. Berns is located at 1208 South Howard Avenue and has long been a number one choice not only for one of the best romantic restaurants in Tampa but also one of the most sophisticated. With their cherry wood booths and Gothic atmosphere it gives off a very personal feeling that is oddly "homey" as well. Their menu features some of the best cuts of steak for you to choose from as well as a number of fresh sides that are simple yet extremely delicious. In addition to their delicious steak choices you can also choose from chicken, lamb and duck. They also have a nice selection of sea food a wonderful selection of caviar from all over the world. Once you have finished your dinner be sure to choose from one of their delicious desserts off their dessert menu that features over 50 choices! Another romantic feature of Berns is once you have finished with your dinner courses you can request to move upstairs to their upstairs booths that are very private. Each of their private booths comes equipped with a phone you can use to request songs from their pianist. Prices vary depending upon your meal choice and if are you eating one of their steaks what cut you would like. 3. CK's is my third choice for romantic restaurants in Tampa mostly because of the beautiful view you get. Located at the Tampa International Airport and sitting atop of the Marriot Hotel, this restaurant actually revolves a full 360 degrees at .05 miles an hour giving couples a full view of beautiful Tampa. This is particularly beautiful if you can see one of Florida's beautiful sunsets. While the menu is known to change with the season they mainly feature items such as seafood, beef and veal. The food is delicious and for dessert it is recommended you try one of Florida's famed desserts such as Key Lime Pie. Prices are reasonable with some of their specialty courses ranging up to $50 a plate. Reservations are recommended to ensure you get a table.
