Stevie Tomato's Sports Page is known as being the number one sports bar in the Fort Myers, Florida area. It is open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day. It has over 100 TV's, and has all major sporting packages. It is a great place to watch the first day of baseball. The food is known for being great. It has live music, pool tables, arcades, and trivia. It is also kid friendly in case you need to bring the kids along to watch the big game. One of the reasons why it is the best place to watch MLB opening day 2009 is because it also has a place to sit outside to be served and still watch the MLB games. Being in Florida, I have to tell you that this is a huge plus.

Jersey's Sports Café is my favorite sports bar in the Fort Myers, Florida area. It is open from Sunday - Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12 midnight, and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. As some of you might know, Fort Myers is where the Red Sox have their spring training camp. I am a huge Red Sox fan myself, and so this sports bar has won over my heart because it is totally known as a Red Sox fan place to hang out. When you go in there you can totally get a sense of New England. It totally caters to the fans of the Red Sox. One of the owners, Bert Furtado, is from Boston. It is just a great mix of Bostonians and southerners. If you are a Red Sox fan you definitely have to be at Jersey's Sports Café for the Red Sox opening day 2009.

Fort Myers Ale House is a very popular sports bar in Fort Myers, Florida. It is open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day. I have never gone there and not seen it fully packed. It is a great place to see the first day of baseball because a TV is visible from every seat. It also has large comfy booths to sit at. It is very modern looking. There is a horseshoe bar in the middle of everything. The drink specials are very good. I think this would be a great place to see baseball opening day 2009.
