Have your kids ever wondered what it was like living on a real farm? This summer you can give them the chance to do just that. This is not your traditional camp. Your children will learn all the ropes of running a farm. The days are varied and pleasant, active yet relaxed. They wont work your children to death so don't worry about that one.
In the morning the kids will rise, make their beds, milk cows if the want or they can sleep in. Learn cream separating and then have breakfast. Then they will do morning chores such as housework, livestock or gardening. They can choose morning projects such as wood working, quilting, farm repairs and more.
Small field trips will be taken also. Things like livestock auctions, hiking to the hollow for a creek walk followed by a cookout. Other things the children will enjoy here is board games, reading, carding, spinning, sewing, stone gathering, milking and many more things. The children really seem to enjoy things like these. They can watch kittens being born, eggs hatching and many more miracles of the world. They can pick apples, strawberries, blackberries and other fruits. Learn how to make applesauce and apple sauce seems to be a favorite of the kids. Kids ages 6-16 can come to this camp.
