Top Ten All My Children Predictions for 2011

Soap fans know that some things are predictable on their shows, and All My Children is no exception. The denizens of Pine Valley can be counted on to do certain things, whether it's once a year or repeatedly. As a long-time viewer, I have come up with my top ten predictions about what will happen on All My Children in 2011.

1. Ryan will barge into someone's home at least six times, grab a woman's arm at least four times, and punch a man in the face at least three times. He will also hold at least two people against their will and refuse to let them leave until he gets what he wants.

2. Frankie and Randi will split up. Randi's modeling career, coupled with Madison's break-up with Ryan, will result in Frankie and Madison spending more time together. They'll grow closer, while the physical and emotional distance between Randi and Frankie grows.

3. Kendall will have grief sex. Now that Zach is presumed dead, Kendall will have no choice but to engage in grief sex. She just can't help herself. The big question is how she's managed to hold off for so long.

4. The writers will continue to force the pairing of Ryan and Greenlee (Rylee) on the viewers. This is the most obvious--and most unfortunate--prediction for 2011. There will be obstacles, but it will be obvious to distraught viewers that putting them together again for the long haul is the ultimate goal.

5. Angie will get her sight back. Once the baby is born, Angie will resume the treatment she was on before learning about the pregnancy. This drug will restore her eyesight.

6. David will get away with faking his death, setting up Ryan, and breaking out of custody. In all likelihood, he'll get off on a technicality when Natalia screws up, but it's also possible that Mayor Blanco will have something to do with it, such as arranging for him to be pardoned.

7. Erica and Jackson will get remarried and then break up again. Jack's possessive, controlling nature and his protective stance toward Greenlee will push Erica too far, and she'll turn to Caleb.

8. Bianca will eventually get divorced, probably instigated by Reese. Reese wants Bianca to put her first in her life, but Bianca has already revealed that she doesn't exactly think of her wife as her soul mate.

9. Kendall's complete lack of impulse-control will result in her arrest. This will happen after she complains that no one trusts her to be able to control herself.

10. Father Clarence will appear at Christmastime to offer his wisdom and guidance. At this point, exactly which Pine Valley resident(s) will be in need of his guidance is anyone's guess.
