-Sophie Kinsella - The Shopaholic Series. This series will have you giggling at once, and with five books now in the series you have plenty to get you started.
-Sophie Kinsella - Can You Keep a Secret? By the same author as the shopaholic series this book will have you giggling and routing for the leading lady. The perfect book for those looking for love.
-Marian Keyes. Any book by Marian Keyes will keep you intrigued. Typically they are quite large books which will keep you busy for hours. These books will have you giggling and identifying with the characters throughout.
-Alice Sebold - The Lovely Bones. A book that has a murdered young girl looking down on her family and friends from Heaven, while they try to unravel the mystery of her death. It's told from an interesting viewpoint and grabs your attention at once.
-Richard B. Wright - Clara Callan. An interesting novel that reads through letters between two sisters and identifies the relationship between two sisters. A must read for anyone who has a sister.
-Cecelia Ahern - PS, I Love You. An emotional and funny novel which tells the tale of a woman who must overcome the recent death of her husband by reading letters left to her by her husband. It will have you smiling and crying throughout.
-Billie Letts - Where the Heart Is. There is also a movie based on this book of a 17 year old girl who is stranded at Wal-Mart and gives birth to her baby at the local store.
-Jodi Picoult - The Pact. A murder mystery with a young couple in love and the girls death, similar to that of Romeo and Juliet. The lead up to how the death occurred will keep you on the edge of your seat.
-Arthur Golden - Memoirs of a Geisha. Don't miss out on this book, it's a must read! It chronicles the life of a geisha and gives you a thorough glimpse into the life of a geisha.
-Diana Gabaldon - The Outlander Series. An amazing series based on History and filled with adventure, love, and family. Each book is quite large and will keep you going for hours.
