The Grand Luxan in the Venetian.
This dimly lit, elegant 24-hour Vegas restaurant has a variety of spicy, foreign flavored dishes including their seared ahi as well as their fresh, heartily decked and seasoned sandwiches and Italian salads. They probably have the lowest priced quality cuisine at the strip at about $7 per person, and their service is remarkably prompt even for Vegas.
The Peppermill Inn.
Off the beaten path, you will find hidden a swanky nightclub with a cozy atmosphere where you can relax with a drink, enjoy some of the best late night bar food you can find anywhere all served by bevies of lovely waitresses. The food is not the typical soak up to booze fried mozzarella sticks and chicken wings, but more like an upscale late night diner with steaks, omelets, and pancakes generously portioned to give you the calories needed for some AFTER, after-hours clubbing. Other menu items include: spectacular salads, sandwiches, and traditional breakfast favorites.
The Sherwood Forest Café.
The Excalibur offers this café where you can order a stack of flapjacks for a 5 pm breakfast and a juicy, robust All American burger for a 5 am lunch. They also feature some healthier items on the menu if you wish to maintain your figure to look good for the Vegas nightlife. I recommend their Castle Pancake Sandwich or New York steak with Jack Daniels sauce. Prices run about $8-10 per person.
Mr. Lucky's Hard Rock Cafe
Definitely for the young and hip of the 24 hour Vegas crowd. Although it fits under the "Cheap Eats" category of a lot of Vegas review magazines, it's food as just about as good as the more gourmet quality cuisine at Hard Rock's Mortini's restaurant. They have some pretty good sandwiches, burgers, barbecue chicken pizza, and pasta salads. Also, if you're really hungry, you can get a plate size pancake to go along with a late night latte. Their prices are pretty cheap at about $7 or $8 for meal, ala IHOP or Denny's.
BajaBeach Café La Fiesta
Another 24 hour Vegas diner where you can fill up on their huge portions of hash browns, scrambled eggs and an extra hearty chicken fried steak and eggs. I recommend their Cancun omelet which especially good for a late night breakfast or early morning special accommodated by a bloody marry. I rate this is one of the best for cheap eats. A basic, filling breakfast of bacon, eggs and hash browns can run you $1.49.
Bally's Sidewalk Café
A definite "cheap eats" favorite where can fill your belly at Bally's Hotel/Casino to your heart's content for $5 - $10 per patron. It's an all you can eat buffet offering up succulent cuts of prime rib and roast turkey all night long complimented by a an array appetizers and desserts. If you're hungry for big breakfast to get some fuel for a long day at the tables the cooks are ready early in the morning to custom make your omelets, serve up hotcakes and scramble your eggs.
The Augustus Cafe
Certainly a trip to Vegas would not be complete without a trip to Caesar's Palace. And if you you're looking for a more casual 24/7 Vegas establishment with a family oriented atmosphere where you feel comfortable bringing anyone, including your night owl grandma, the Augustus Café is your best bet. With a view of the Roman plaza, up to 12 guests can be seated in a booth and the menu is so diverse than anyone can find something to chow down on.
The menu includes espresso, potato and artichoke frittatas for breakfast, made to order customized omelets, and rich, delightfully sticky servings of French toast. On average, the coast runs about $12 a person.
Carson Street Cafe
This Golden Nugget is sure to give you a pleasurable experience for around $10 and is probably the best 24 hour restaurant in Las Vegas at the famed Golden Nugget near Freemont. You can get your typical ribs, burgers and fries, along with traditional sandwiches - all of which are at least above average. Sandwiches are better than their ribs, burgers, and fries which are OK, but filling. On the other hand, They also offer cuisine if you feel like taking a little more time. Their linguini with shrimp is as good as any credible Italian restaurant that I've been to at home and they have a good selection of pies. Although not my personal favorite flavor of pie, their Pecan a la mode was impressive enough to earn a mention in the L.A. Times Travel section.
America
The simply named 24 hour Vegas restaurant in the New York, New York hotel/casino is very aptly named since its ceilings and walls are decorated with a 30 by 90 foot topographical map of the United States on the ceiling that can take your eyes on a virtual road trip with good food being served up for an average of $16 per check. For anyone who can appreciate a good Philly Cheese steak there will be little disappointment. The rest of their menu reads, and tastes, like a slice of Americana with their Mississippi barbecue chicken sandwich and the New York Street Corner hot dog.
Bay City Diner
A true diner in the classic sense, reminiscent of 50's and 60's all night diners and malt shops. It's located near the Golden Gate in the Freemont district. The breakfast food is terrific, and a real bargain. Also, the sandwich deli always draws a long line with their generous portions of freshly sliced meat. It's definitely home-style, as they serve mashed potatoes with their 9.99 prime rib special. I heard people saying good things about their soups and beef stew as well. Definitely not bad considering that you can end up paying a little under $30 for three people.
Café Verdi
Although a long night of blackjack and clubbing can make me crave greasy foods even if it means I pay in severe bloating and projectile vomiting later, Café Verdi 's $10 and under Pizza may be as greasy as they come, but it's not typical "delivery pizza" greasy I'd get back home at Domino's. It's got a quality to it that harkens back to traditional style Italian or Chicago pizza. Also, with their $6.50 take it special and their right on button 20-30 prep and cook time for consistently late night craving satisfying pizza, they are practically unbeatable in their field. Other items on their menu include: wings, Verdi's Special, Vegetarian Supreme, tuna, Subs, Strombolis, spinach pizza, small one item cheese pizza & a soda, sausage or ham Sub with French Fries and a soda.
