Top Ten Comedians of the Millenium: Who're the Top of the 2000's so Far?

Ok in my opinion a good comic can hit all kinds of worlds. He or she can find comedy in all genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientation and lifestyles. It was hard for me to pick out just 10 but here in my opinion are the top 10.

10. Denis Leary: A great comedian and definitely has a way with words…the naughty words. He is a Boston Massachusetts local and he has done numerous charity works for local firefighters and also donated a lot to the funds to help out families of the 9-11 tragedies. Leary lost his brother who was a fire fighter in a fire in Worcester Massachusetts.

9. Margaret Cho- A funny lady who's stand up always puts me on the floor laughing, definitely a great stand up comedian. Her bit about the asian chicken salad had me rolling on the ground in laughter.

8. Dave Chappelle- Everyone loves him! Entertaining us with skit after skit he is a definite comedian who loves what he does. Do we really care about the rumors of how he took off out of town and blah blah blah, heck no we just want to laugh. So "Darkness!! , we love Chappelle.

7.Jerry Seinfeld- The show was adored by so many but it all started from his stand up, bravo Jerry good job! When I hear Jerry Seinfeld I think of the soup nazi, anyone else? So many years of quality television and still many more of reruns!

6. Dane Cook- I put him up the list a bit because he is amazing up and coming talent. He is the guy who would make you spit milk out of your nose in school lunch funny. I can't get enough of this guy! So I'm waiting Dane I want see some new material soon! Have you seen Employee of The Month yet? If you haven't I think maybe you should. It was a great movie.

5.Ellen DeGeneres- A funny women who wasn't afraid to shed who she was and came out of the closet on national television. I admire her for that and I also admire her for being so damn funny! When I think of Ellen i think of her show years ago, her book I read that was marvelous, and her dancing in an elevator, that comercial makes me giggle.

4.Chris Rock- This guy can make fun of anyone and they'll even laugh about it! He is truly a comedy mastermind. I have to say Chris Rock is someone I would pay a large sum of money to see perform stand up live. Who else can sing such a song as NO sex in theChampaigne room.

3.George Carlin- His way with hating the world makes us all laugh. He seems to be a cranky old guy with complaints about everything and that's why we love him! He does all our complaining for us. I love his skit on losing items and when you go to heaven you get all your lighters, pens and pencils back….great stuff!

2. Robin Williams- This guys is so funny. He can always make me laugh. If I'm down and out I pop in a Robin Williams comedy and within no time I'm laughing. He is one of the best comedians to ever live in my opinion. He can do anything you throw at him.

1. Bill Cosby- But of course who else? The one and only, this guy made everyone laugh! I think everyone remembers the chocolate cake skit. The guy is an amazing comedian and will always be a legend. There isn't too much else to say other than years of The Cosby show and the best stand up.
