1. Micki and Maude (1984). This is one of my favorite funny father movies of all time. Why? Dudley Moore is just plain hilarious. I can't watch a film that he's in without rolling on the floor laughing. This is an older film, but still a great one to watch. What happens is that Dudley Moore plays a guy who has two wives. How does this happen? Who knows with him, right? But what is funnier is that they are both pregnant and due at the same time. Imagine Dudley Moore running from one hospital bed to another when they wind up in labor at the same time! Of course, the two find out about each other. Then, picture the antics that ensue when Dudley tries to visit his babies, since the mothers are now too mad to even speak to him. For one example, he ends up with a black ski mask on trying to scale an apartment building and get in through the window to the apartment to see his baby!
2. Mr. Mom (1983). This is another laughing movie about fathers. Michael Keaton plays an excellent role as Jack, a guy with two kids who has just lost his job. Well, that's okay, his wife just landed herself a job, and so he can stay home and take care of the kids. Correct? Well, watch this to see if he has any chance of handling it! This is a great family movie as well.
3. Overboard (1987). Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell fire up the screen in this father movie about a guy with lots of kids who have no mother. So, Kurt Russell finds the perfect opportunity to get a mother for his children, a lady he will basically turn into his slave. How'd he get this lucky? Well, the mean woman who hired him to work on her boat and then fired him falls overboard, losing her memory. He has the rare opportunity to claim her, stating it's his wife. Wow, revenge is sweet. The theme, aside from revenge, is about the father's desire to find a way to take care of his children, even if his motives are slightly skewed.
4. Little Miss Sunshine (2006). Yes, Father, I thank you for being willing to drive me and the family cross country so I can get in a beauty pageant. How sweet of you. However, what's going to happen along the way? It's pretty funny, that's all I can say! This is a great Father's Day movie.
5. Evan Almighty (2007). What if it was you who was chosen to build an ark and save animals of every kind. What if this were your responsibility? Well, this father definitely assumes his role well. He grows a beard, he takes on the whole part. He kind of loses his mind a bit, but hey, that's okay. This is a modern day comical take on the Noah's Ark story from biblical times. Definitely a must see father's movie for Father's Day.
6. Click (2006). This father movie stars Adam Sandler as the typical father who doesn't want to deal with anything. When he gains access to a remote that has magical powers, he decides to skip all kinds of events, ones that he then realizes he should never have missed. He misses alot of time with his kids and wife. Will he ever get that time back?
7. The Hangover (2009). The Hangover might not be a movie you would call a father's movie, but I do. Why? Because, one of the guys that goes to Vegas is a father. You see the reality that fathers get into mischief too, and that fathers don't always make the best decisions. Did I mention how funny this father's movie is?
8. The Toy (1982). This is an oldie but goodie father's movie. Although the movie focuses on the guy that the father has paid to watch his son, we learn about fatherhood and coming to terms with the responsibilities of being a father.
9. Three Men and a Baby (1987). These three men aren't all the father of this baby, but one of them is. At least we think so. It's pretty funny watching these clueless guys try to be all they can be to be great dads, even though the true role only belongs to one of them.
10. Spanglish (2004). This is another Adam Sandler movie. Adam Sandler is a married father, who begins to enjoy the company of his spanish speaking housekeeper. Of course, this spells TROUBLE!
What are your picks for Father's Day comical movies?

An oldie I'd love to see again, with Kurt Russell,'Captain Ron.' Very funny movie. I like all your choices too!
I've never seen Micki and Maude. It sounds good, though. You picked some great ones. I soooo love Overboard. I think we only own 2 movies on DVD and that's one of them. Nice article.
