1. One Tribe- Black Eyed Peas
The Black Eyed Peas are one of the most dynamic pop groups in the industry today. They are in tune with what people love to listen to as well as what's going on in the world around them. Their song "One Tribe" really embodies the spirit of unity and peace and reminds us that we're all sharing this one planet together.

2. What About Us- Michael Jackson
Also named "The Earth Song," this track is one of Michael Jackson's legacies to his fans and the world that he loved so much despite his trials and tribulations. The powerful music is paired with beautiful lyrics describing Earth's "weeping shores" and "flowering fields."

3. The Prayer- Andrea Bocelli/Celine Dion
This is a love song that doesn't lyrically speak about the Earth or the environment, but the message of prayer, grace, and hope still apply. Our environment is a fragile and special ecosystem that we must take care of and this song gives us hope that we can make this world a sustainable place to live in harmony.

4. What a Wonderful World- Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong's classic song, "What a Wonderful World" is a great Earth Day song because it's happy, hopeful, and speaks about the simple things around us that bring us joy. So when you're out enjoying the Earth Day festivities take a cue from Mr. Armstrong and appreciate the "skies of blue" and "clouds of white."

Mr. Mallett is a popular folk singer/songwriter who composed this well-known tune about the wonders of growing plants and flowers. It has been covered by famous artists like John Denver and Peter, Paul, and Mary.

Joni Mitchell got inspired to write this song when she was in Hawaii. She noted the deep, negative effects of capitalism and consumerism on a beautiful paradise like Hawaii. If we're not careful, we might be destroying much of our natural earth for modern day high rises and parking lots.

Enya has one of the most angelical voices in the industry today. Her well-known song, "Sail Away" transports you on the ethereal waves of the oceans. It always makes me imagine dolphins spiking through the crystal clear waters and the natural beauty of this blue world.

8. Rocky Mountain High-John Denver
John Denver is a legacy in American history for being a brilliant singer-songwriter and activist. He has sung and written many songs pertaining to the environment. This song is particularly about Colorado, but it can apply to any landscape on our planet. It's message is about the beauty of our mountains and of how it's being periodically destroyed by careless acts of pollution and tourism.

9. Earth- David Roth
Listening to the soulful guitar strums on this track brings you to a peaceful place in your heart. It's lyrics epitomize the spirit of Earth Day. The message is clear- the culmination of our combined efforts to make a better Earth will allow us to have a long, peaceful future.

10. Imagine- John Lennon
John Lennon is a legend in rock history. His song, "Imagine" relates to people being unified and the beauty of peace on Earth. According to Wikipedia, it is touted as one of the most influential and greatest songs of all time. It's also a great song for Earth Day.
