Top Ten Flash Villains

J. Gordon
Over the last 70 years, three men have taken the name of the Flash and fought crime using their super speed. This list focuses on Barry Allen, the Flash that first appeared in 1956, died in 1985, and returned in 2008. During most of his years as the Scarlet Speedster, these were his most dangerous enemies . . .

Captain Cold

This evil menace brandishes a gun that can freeze the moisture in the air. Captain Cold's real name is Leonard Snart. He was one of the Flash's first enemies and has always been one of the most recognizable.

Gorilla Grodd

Grodd is a giant ape with superhuman intelligence. He was the only evil inhabitant of the lost kingdom Gorilla City. Escaping from the city's gates, Grodd has come to Central City many times to destroy the Flash.

Mirror Master

The illusions of reflection are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Mirror Master's abilities. He uses his technology to create holograms or even travel into different dimensions. The Flash must always be on his guard because with Mirror Master, he can never tell which way is up.

Professor Zoom

Zoom is possibly Flash's greatest villain. He is from the future and also commands the power of super speed. Professor Zoom seemingly killed Barry's first wife, Iris, and attempted to kill his new bride, but Flash stopped him by breaking his neck. Thus began a murder trial that was one of the low points of Flash's life.

Captain Boomerang

An Austrailian criminal who is master of the boomerangs. Evil to the point of likable, Captain Boomerang has been both villain and anti-hero, but he has always been one of the Flash's biggest threats.

The Trickster

James Jesse was inspired by his reverse namesake Jesse James to embark on a life of crime. With a circus background, The Trickster employs a menagerie of tricks and pranks to damage his enemies as well as catching a laugh.

Pied Piper

A master of sound, the Pied Piper has built a special flute that can put anyone under his hypnotic spell. Anyone that is within the sound's waves can fall under the Piper's mind control.

Weather Wizard
With the power to control weather patterns, the Weather Wizard is one of the most powerful of Flash's villains. He wields a special wand that allows the control of everything from tornadoes to hurricanes. With very little effort, the Weather Wizard can cause major destruction.

Heat Wave

This villain wields a heat gun that can cause anything to burst into flames. Heat Wave wears an asbestos suit and a breathing mask that gives him protection against the heat. He also has a pipe attached to his arm from which he can project fire retardant to put out flames.

The Top

The Top used weapons with a top theme to perpetuate his crimes upon Central City. With time, The Top was able to spin around with incredible force.
