Top Ten Funniest Moments of 2006

As we stand on the brink of a new calendar year in this young millenium its important to look back and reflect on the good, bad and the funnies of the 12 previous months.

10. Actor/Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen stuns the world and offends everybody from America to Kazakhastan in his film "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhastan" released on Nov 3rd. We dished out $26.4 million here in the states on its first weekend concluding that Americans always love a wholesome rascist.

9. Mel Gibson gets arrested for drunk driving in July and abuses his impaired judgement by calling his arresting officer a f----ing jew, or something like that.

8. Kramer, also known as Micheal RIchards, joins the club on a Friday night in November during a performance at the Laugh Factory In L.A. when he let some black hecklers get the better of him. Yes, if you were wondering, he did drop the N bomb.

7. A 60 year-old Sylvester Stallone graces us with yet another Rocky movie telling us we're never too old to get punched in the face repeatedly.

6. Steven Colbert of Comedy Central's "Colbert Report" rips into President Bush at a correspondents dinner on April 29th, making everyone uncomfortable. (except for the 70% or so that hate Bush's guts - we loved it)

5. Congressman Mark Foley involuntarily came out of the closet in late September letting us in on his little secret obsession with little boys.

4. Senator John Kerry successfully offended our brave soldiers across the globe as he botched an Iraq joke in front of a crowd of college students on October 30th.

3. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez took the podium at the UN General Assembly on September 20th and confirmed what most of us already knew. Bush is the devil. Bless your soul, Chavez.

2. Vice President Dick Cheney shot his friend, Harry Whittington in the face with birdshot during a hunting accident on Febuary 11th. The men were hunting for quail and apparently Whittington resembles the funny looking bird.

1. The Democrats win the Senate in the midterm elections and also think they've won control.
