From Science Fiction to Fantasy, Star Trek to Star Wars, Doctor Who to Stargate, there is a geek of some sort in all of us. And some of the most fun toys, gadgets and all out nerdiness comes from Thinkgeek.com. This amazing site has toys for all ages, even some of the...ahem...adults out there who haven't quite given up play time.

Number 10: If you're a Doctor Who fan like I am then how could you forget the Sonic Screwdriver, the Daleks, and the TARDIS, right? Well at Thinkgeek.com there is a whole host of Doctor Who fandom just waiting to be played with, and one of them is a replica toy Sonic Screwdriver. It features two nibs one with standard ink and one with UV ink for those secret messages. A UV light which when turned on with a press of the button on the side also makes authentic sound effects from the TV series. The Sonic Screwdriver also comes with a bit of "psychic paper" which can be written on by the UV ink nib. Pal about with this toy and pretend to go about in your own TARDIS and meet strange new creatures and aliens.

Number 9: Not a Doctor Who fan? Star Trek your gig? Then check out the Star Trek Type II Phaser. No it really doesn't shoot but it ought to. The authentic casing has all the sound and light effects of the phasers from television series. The main armament, which looks like a futuristic Uzi comes with a detached version of the phaser unit which is smaller and more compact. Be it playing space invaders in the back yard or going to a Trek Convention this is one piece any Star Trek fan would love to have.

Number 8: "Weapons, gadgets, droids...what next, master?"
"Have you a lightsaber, young padawan?" You got it, lightsabers, but not just any old lightsabers, the official Force FX Lighsabers. These come in various types, from Obi Wan's and Darth Maul's to Luke and Yoda. Each light up with the correct color and when waved create their own sound effects. With these you can recreate the entire Star Wars Trilogies.

Number 7: Speaking of recreating Star Wars, one can't do that with out Yoda and the closest thing you can get is the Yoda Plushy Backpack. Strapping on as though he is ready to teach you the ways of the force while running through the jungles, this backpack can store all those precious items a geek could ever need (Mountain Dew, Nintendo DS, inhaler). The only thing it can't do is talk, of course we can all imagine can't we?

Number 6: The Sneaky Book for Girls; what can I say. Girls rarely make the geek ranking and just need that extra boost to go from nerd to all and out geek. Of course if Dungeons and Dragons does not do it, then this book will. Chalk full of tricks and jokes to out wit even the most ingenious of boys.

Number 5: Well if there is one for the girls there is one for the boys. The Sneaky Book for Boys are for those nerds who just can't get the courage to go talk to the girl across the science lab. With experiments and tricks that all boys should know, sooner or later they'll catch the attention of those girls. Until then they can have fun reading and maybe doing some of the great ideas in this book.

Number 4: For the artist in all of us, we always have wanted to draw cartoons like the professionals and with the DIY Manga Drawing Kit you can learn to draw all of those great anime fan girls the way they're supposed to be. It comes with a moveable drawer's statue, pens and paper, and a fully illustrated manual on how to draw manga characters from scratch.

Number 3: We all remember silly putty, and then gack, well kids have a new gooey mess to play with. Glow in the Dark Mars Mud goops and globs stretched and tears and remolds, and of course glows in the dark, oh and it bounces too.

Number 2: The MythBusters, you know those guys right, on Discovery channel. They do all weird things like blowing up cement trucks with hardened loads-sounds dirty right? Or how many balloons does it take to lift a kid? Well they have a great kid friendly experiment kid called MythBusters Weird World of Water. It comes with all the pieces you need to perform any number of experiments detailed in the handy booklet that comes with the kit.

Number 1: Number one...number one? Hmm what should be number one? To be perfectly honest I don't know. There is the remote control Dalek, the Laser Tag 2-1 system, the Spy camera sunglasses, snowball launcher, Mathmos Space Projector, or the retro re-release Nintendo/ Super Nintendo, and who knows what they will bring to us next. So you decide, head over to Thinkgeek.com, look at all the cool toys and gadgets they have.
Oh and one last thing, all the toys here are listed for at least seven years of age.
