The average Leap pad costs between $20 and $30.00. The interactive games can be purchased seperately. They even cater to such popular shows as Dora, Diego, and Thomas the Tank Engine.
5. Single person tent- Throw in a flashlight and a sleeping bag and your child will have a tent of his very own that can be set up in any room. Most little boys would be thrilled to have a place of their own to read, color, and play. Single person tents are actually more durable than the ones that are designed as play tents. These can be purchased at sporting goods stores and large retailers. The price will vary depend on the quality and design.

It's almost like a playground in itself. The material is strong enough to withstand being rolled about on hard surfaces, but soft enough to keep kids safe. Retails for 50.00.
2. Soft and Sturdy Jumbo Blocks- These are durable, soft and made of dense material for sustaining wear and tear. You can pile them high, build, create and knock them down again. This is a great gift that will encourage imagination, building skills, shape recognition, and color recognition. These blocks retail for 49.99 and can be purchased through Montgomery Ward. This set contains a combination of 44 shapes of blocks.
1. Thomas the Tank Engine- Anything from the Thomas Tank Engine Collection is in high demand for this age group. A long line of items including die cast engines, wood engines, book, videos, play mats, tables, tracks, expansion sets and much, much more. My son has played with his trains so much the paint is chipped on most of his engines. He never gets bored with them. The only downside is that they will want to collect more and more! These are great imagination toys. The price varies on each engine type and set. The more elaborate, the more expensive. They can be purchased through toy stores, Walmart, Ebay, Target and many other stores.
