Jordan I-XXIII

Jordan shoes are like nothing else in the industry. They were highly advanced shoes created for the best basketball player of all time Michael Jordan. Here is a list of the Top 10 Jordan Shoes of all time.

10. Jordan I - Alpha (University Blue/White/Black)

This shoe was a very plain shoe and only made the list because this shoe revolutionized the industry. Jordan wore these shoes designed by Peter Moore for the 1985 season. He was fined around $5000 dollars per game for wearing the black and red color way because it violated the white shoe dress code. The Jordan I Alpha feature a picture of Jordan at North Carolina on the side and feature their color way.

9. Jordan XXI - White/Metallic Silver

This shoe was released in 2006 for $175 and was designed by Dwayne Edwards. These shoes feature a side plastic mesh on the right side which reminds me of the Jordan V. The white and silver color way are nice and clean and the XXI feature a 23 on the side of the shoe which adds detail.

8. Jordan XXIII- Titanium (White/Titanium/University Blue)

These shoes were the last of the I-XXIII line and retailed for $230 and 23 pair were released to the top 23 Jordan Dealerships in the United States.

7. Jordan XXII- PE Seattle Supersonics "Ray Allen" (White/Metallic Silver/Deep Forest/Gold/)

These Jordans were released in 2007 for $150 and were designed by Dwayne Edwards. The original color ways included a white/red/black and a black/red color scheme. The PE edition were released later and included color schemes for 6 teams including; Seattle, Detroit, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, and Chicago. My favorite color is the Seattle with the nice design of the space needle and surrounding landscape.

6. Jordan IV- Retro (White/Military Blue)

The original IV were released in 1989 and were designed by Tinker Hatfield. The shoe was retroed in 2006 and this color scheme was released. The retroed IV were retailed for $115. These shoes featured air max in the heel. The IV Jordans remind me more of a street shoe than a basketball shoe but while wearing these for the 89' season Jordan averaged 32.5 points per game claiming the scoring title and made the all-star, all-defense, and 1st NBA teams.

5. Jordan XIV - (White/Red/Black)

These shoes are one of the most famous Jordan shoes ever and were designed by Tinker Hatfield. He wore these shoes in the 99' Finals when he hit the game winning shot against the Jazz with 5 seconds left over Byron Russel to give him his 6th and final championship. They featured 7 Jordan symbols on each shoe for a total of 14 on both.

4. Jordan XII - (Black/White/Silver)

These were the first "official" Jordan shoes ever. Released for the 96-97 season Jordan wore them to win his 5th NBA championship and won the finals MVP, even though he lost to regular season MVP voting by a small margin to Karl Malone.

3. Jordan XI - Concords (White/Black/Dark Concord)

The most popular and best selling shoe ever of the Jordan brand. Designed by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1995 selling for $125. They were worn by Jordan in his comeback from retirement, and were even made famous in the movie "Space Jam" in which a new color way was made specifically for the movie and dubbed "Space Jams" by collectors.

2. Jordan XVIII - (White/Metallic Silver/Sport Blue)

These shoes were released in 2003 when Jordan was playing with the Wizards, right before his final retirement. They were designed by Tate Kuerbis and retailed for $175. The XVIII featured a front flap that concealed the lace system and were modeled after the Lamborghini Murcielago.

1. Jordan V - Laneys (White/Varsity Blue/Varsity Maize)

These are the freshest kicks to be released by Nike...EVER! These shoes modeled the color way off Jordan's high school Laney High. They feature a clear sole and a mesh side which makes them one of the best selling Jordans every. Designed by Tinker Hatfield in 1990 this color way came out in 2000 when they were retroed for the first time and sold for $120.

AND THE WORST...

Jordan XV - All color ways

These shoes were the ugliest Jordans every to be made. Jordan never wore the shoes since he was retired at the time but the shoe was a mistake to be produced. The tongue of the XV stuck straight forward and featured a checkerboard pattern of leather and patent leather. They were later released as slip on mocs and the sales also failed horribly. These were Tinker Hatfield last Jordan design.

This is the worst list ever. How can you not put the space jams, the fire red IIIs, or the OG color away 1s on here? You obviously know nothing about shoes if PEs and Alphas are on your top ten list!
